Thank you for tuning in!

Somehow, as we’re all trying to sort ourselves and decide how we’ll feel and what we’ll do if Manchester City Cheaters Club get punished what we think is enough, or not. Meanwhile, their manager is out there saying ‘I know nothing.’ If you’re of a certain age, you’ll remember Shultz saying that on Hogan’s Heroes. I think I recall it being highly sarcastic, and that he knew everything but didn’t want to get in trouble or be responsible for not being a tattletale. Feels a little like that with Enzo Maresca. Enough talk about the lying cheating blues. If you haven’t checked out my full analysis of what punishment should look like, you’ll find it in Punished: The Sentence Manchester City Deserves.

On this episode, Eric and Matt cover Arsenal’s Champions League match against Lille. Three really lovely goals and who started the goal scoring? None other than defender Jurrien Timber and his magical right foot. We discuss Saka’s key contribution off the bench. There is a quick rundown of the crazy results in the Champions League. We preview the Nottingham Forest match and the challenges they present. Make sure to listen to the end for the 3 quick things and the big number reveal.
