Today, we celebrate the eve of St. John Paul II's feast day! Reflecting on his life and the indelible mark he left on many of us, as Peter shares, "He was the Pope of our lives."
Pope St. John Paul II's life was marked by personal suffering, yet he embraced a life of love.
We reflect on the emergence of the JP2 Generation, a groupinspired by his teachings and writings. As Peter notes, "There’s a whole generation of priests who would say, ‘I’m here because of him.’" This movement is revitalizing interest in his teachings, particularly regarding marriage and family life.
In a world where sexual intimacy is often misrepresented, St. John Paul II's teachings remind us of its sacredness. He guided us toward understanding sexual desire within the divine plan, avoiding the pitfalls of objectification that are prevalent in today’s culture.
Finally, we reflect on how St. John Paul II's legacy continues as we announce an exciting endeavor to bring his Rule to Ireland and back to Krakow!
