The easy go interesting story listening it is!
I surely loved this story! I am already fond of the author. The story was bit like movies. I loved listening this story because of the amazing combination of storyline and the voice effect... specially the voice of male was damn mesmerizing.
The plotting is quite interesting. Loved the story of small town. The small twist and turns were easy to handle.. The one who wanna ready or listen slow stories or the soothing one, should prefer this one surely!

Perfection through and through
I love everything about this book... to the point where I don't know where to start listing the things I love about it!
I won't bother with a review. But here's a zero-spoiler list of why this book is awesome :
1. Not heavy on any of the troupes, the story is smooth-flowing.
2. The unconventional leads.
3. The vivid and beautifully detailed emotional bits of the narrations (yes, this needs a separate mention).
4. I am convinced Sunshine Falls is Stars Hollow in so many ways!
5. The steamy bits and the non-steamy bits. Oh, well. The conversations. (glad I picked the Audible version!)
6. Humor is written for the characters and not the readers. OMG! And it's heartwarming.
7. The many bookish metaphors. Even perfume. But at no point is it overdone to justify the book name.
8. It's about being brave and ambitious. And practical.
9. There's a Wuthering Heights reference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart!
Quotes:
"He is gone. But I still feel him everywhere. I am Heathcliff."
"Maybe love shouldn't be built on a foundation of compromises. But maybe it can't exist without them either. Not the kind that forces two people into shapes they don't fit in. But the kind that loosens their grips - always leaves room to grow. Compromises that say 'There will be a you-shaped space in my heart. And if your shape changes, I will adapt. No matter where we go, our love will stretch out to hold us.'
"Maybe it's possible to have more than one home. Maybe it's possible to belong in a hundred different ways to a hundred different people and places."

Not necessarily a romance book
While the moments between Nora and Charlie were magic, this really felt like a growth story with romance themes.
The beginning of the story started off so beautifully and made me feel so safe to be back in a world created by Emily.
However, there were points when the story just more so felt written about her sister and her with Charlie as a sub-plot (kind of like the Heart Principle for reference). I found myself skipping so much of those scenes because I just didn’t feel connected to that part of the story or really cared about it at all. Which caused me to put it down for a week before finishing.
I’m glad I did because her and Charlie really are magic, I just wish it was market better as more of a healing/growth in case you’re a mood reader and not really in the mood for that type of story.
I would still recommend though!

It's an ok book. The story was a bit lack lustre and there was far far too much narration from Nora. Very slow moving and nothing really happens. Still, it's worth a listen if you want something that you can easily multi task to.

Warm and witty.
Another great book by Emily Henry. She has great style and an original approach to modern romance.
When Charlie Lastro an editor and Nora Stevens an agent meet for the first time it's not under the best of circumstances and things do not go well. It's a bad time for both and they remain on a professional footing which leads to misinterpretation.
Nora is a consummate professional and she and her sister who are polar opposites live, like Charlie ( also a consummate professional) in NYC. When Libby, the sister asks Nora to go on vacation to Sunshine Falls - the place in the book she and Charlie disagreed about -and with a to do list to take them out of their comfort zone it's the last thing Nora wants to do; but she has lived her life looking after her sister and cannot let her down. She meets the last person on earth she would expect to see in Sunshine Falls.
What follows is a witty, sometimes laugh out loud story that is at the same time heart wrenching. I loved it.

A fluffy story
A great fun read with good banter for the MFC/MMC and a sweet romance build. Alongside a cracking sibling subplot. Sweet but nothing particularly epic (hence 4 stars not 5). Narration brilliant; Julie Whelan always a winner 5/5.

I cannot succinctly explain how I feel about this book. I listened to it at the right time for me and lost sleep as every time I put it down I was still lost in the story. The clarity of production and the talent of the voiceover artist were perfect.
Emily Henry creates real, layered characters and interesting plots. This is the second one I’ve read. Congratulations on a book that provides insight, produces smiles and tears, encourages self reflection and was just at the right time. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I loved this book. It was read perfectly by Julia Whelan - she was exceptional! She was so enjoyable to listen to, and so funny! I burst out laughing many times. She truly embodied the characters.
I enjoyed that the story revolves around books, and I didn’t want to reach the end.
