Publisher's Summary

Every girl has a goody drawer....

Sex toy party hostess Liv Tanaka has a collection. Vibrating purple rabbits, cherry-flavored edible underwear, flavored oils... Hey, wearing a leather corset and stilettos (while selling dildos) pays the bills. Just don't tell her very conservative parents. Because if they discovered Liv's sex-toy-selling "Asian Elvira" alter ego, her parents would disown her.

So far, Liv's doing a bang-up job of keeping her two worlds separate... until Porter Benjamin shows up at her party. Tall and too-tasty-to-resist Porter, who works for her father. Porter, who wants Liv to host a party just for him. And oh, she's tempted. But getting involved with Porter means mixing those two worlds that Liv desperately needs to keep separate. And now Liv's Naughty Toybox is starting to look a lot like Pandora's box....

I wasted a credit so you won't have to

I decided not to return this book because it is the worst I've ever listened to, and I wanted to be able to post my oponion. I started the book and over a three week period managed to tolerate about half of it, hoping it would get better. After I passed the half way part and it just kept getting more monotonous I decided to go to the last chapter to see if it at least ended in an interesting way. One can go from the first chapter, skip all the rest and go to the last and not miss a thing. And the narrator did not a thing to make it better, even adding her own inhalations of breath to make it more dreadful. There, that was worth a credit to get that off my chest.

Couldn’t Finish

I downloaded this book through the Romance Package (so, basically it was “free”) because I had just finished listening to Cara Lockwood’s THE SHARK AND I, which was absolutely priceless, so thought I would try another one of her audiobooks. This one, not so good, not really very good at all. This must have been one of her earlier works....I really would not recommend this one. However, for those of you who were also disappointed, you really should try THE SHARK AND I. That one is definitely a good listen!

Enjoyable listen

I love the authors funny spin on a romance. The narrator sounded just right for a bumbling 40 yr old that just started dating. I will listen to this again.

good read

I love her characters. The women are so average Jane. The males are genuinely good guys. She gives you love in reality, not unrealistic expectations. They have feelings you can relate too and want to share with them.

not very exciting

I cant recommend this. It was predictable and even though short I was not sure I even wanted to listen to it to the end.

Brutal narrator

DNF. I couldn’t get through much of this story as I found the narrator excruciating to listen to. Over dramatic, with way too many pauses and inappropriate changes in tone, the narrator needs some serious training. The story may have been good but I will never know.

Couldn’t finish

This prompted me to write my first review after reading so many books on audible. Monotonous snooze fest.

Eh

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. Couldn't even finish it. I loved the Shark and I, but this one was way too slow and repetitive.

Would you be willing to try another one of Allegra Cole’s performances?

No way. She really messed this one up for me. Pausing in the wrong spot. Making the main male character whiney.

Do not bother

The characters were awful, the relationships are all horribly dysfunctional, the story line is disjointed as if the writer had forgotten her own details. I wish I had been able to just stop reading it I hated it that much but I hate leaving a book unfinished even more.

Couldn’t finish

The narration was just too awful for me to continue. I might have liked the story but I was having issues with Porter’s complete lack of understanding of Liv’s terror regarding her parents.
