Its worth a listen and a credit. The narration was really good I am an Erin Malon fan so loved it. My only criticism is that the sex scenes were not long or detailed enough. It was low "his manhood was long thick and hard Yada Yada Yada she had four mind blowing big O's" Could have been better but the story was intriguing.

PERFECT.... SIMPLY WONDERFULLY PERFECT

It's so so hard to put down in words just how much I loved this book.... it has it all - an epic romance, suspense, conflict, intrigue, danger, sex, secrets, lies, heartbreak, awesome characters both loveable and sinister, wtf I never saw that coming twists and a jaw dropping holy sh*t of a cliffhanger ending. I don't want to give anything away about the storyline that may dampen your enjoyment in any way so I cannot say more other than a broken heroine who'll overlook everything for one man, a hero torn by duty love and guilt and the dangerous word of a criminal Cartel that surrounds and eventually consumes them both. So all I can do is share my thoughts:-

Alex and Amelia's beautiful and yet tragic love story, and the plot threads that slowly interlaced and then unravelled with one another, had me absolutely clinging onto every word.... waiting, hoping and praying that Alex can find a way out of the deadly conflict that's cruelly tormenting him. And, no matter how late into the night it crept, I was there visualizing every wonderful, terrible and shocking Chapter as they all effortlessly played out in my mind. Because this talented Author made sure I was gripped and then the brilliant narration had me emotionally transfixed and I knew sleep, for me, simply wasn't an option. When it comes to a great listen willpower and me aren't at all acquainted so I just laid there savouring and devouring every word until the final shocking Chapter had delivered its bitter blow. But, even after the dreaded words of "to be continued" filtered through my brain, I was tempted to go straight to book 2 which I've happily got waiting in the wings however I decided to call it a dawn and finally get some sleep. And, now that a new day has arrived, I'm humming with joy, pleasure, anticipation and trepidation as I eagerly await my next Bound and Broken fix.

Worth a credit? Take a guess?....... yup you're right - it's one million times YES.
But I've got a peeve.... I'm a bit fed up with using two and sometimes three or more credits on books that are split like this one when they could and should have (IMO) just been one book, one listen and one credit.

GREAT BOOK!!!

It's been a while since I made it all the way thru a book. I usually get bored & switch but I didn't on this one:)
Basically, she falls in love w/ the head of a family drug cartel. His dad's in prison so he's stuck running the more gruesome side of the show (instead of just the $ & investments.)
There's also another hot, government man in the picture that's actively pursuing her on a daily basis, as well. Both men are head over heels for her.

Definitely worth a credit in my humble opinion! :)

Wild ride

This book starts with a bang and ends with a bang. So many mysteries and secrets uncovered. Emilia travels to Arizona, after her mother's death, in search of her father. Once she arrives in Phoenix, she meets Alex who takes her in after she receives less than a warm welcome from her dad. From here there is action and excitement, romance and heat.

Rebecca Shea did an amazing job writing a story that is so full of movement, you can't seem to turn it off. This is my second time listening to this audio and it won't be my last.

Vikas Adam was amazing as both Alex and Sam. The emotion pours through his voice and the suffering and hurt as well as the longing and desire seep from his voice. Erin Mallon is a favorite of mine and she doesn't disappoint as the voice of Emilia.

Talk about a mind f**k!! Broken by Lies takes the cake and then some!
If you know anything about me. Then you would know that I’m a ride or die mafia book whore! Yup!!
So, I was a bit leery of reading a book based on the Mexican Cartel. Especially since it has the glimpse into the Mexican Culture and the Catholicism. Which I am both! I wasn't sure it would be true to form.
But Heck Broken by Lies broke all my misconceptions! It steamrolled over it all! Rebecca Shea lead us on a suspenseful romance thriller that will boggle your mind! Hold you captive and trying like hell to compute, what just occurred! You might even want to throw your iPad across the room! Scream shout and even yell! Since the goddam plot twist is at every corner. I could have gotten whiplash from it all! That rush of endorphins will be pushed me to keep reading or in my case listening to the audiobook! Which seemed to heightened my experience to a new dynamic level!
WTF??? I screamed!!! OMFG!!! That cliffhanger????
Just left me speechless and feeling like a mindless twit!

Accolades!!! FIVE HUGE STARS!

This story has it all. Lust, love, redemption, commitment, devotion.

I am going to try hard to give a brief synopsis without spoilers!

Emilia finds herself alone in the world. Her mother's death has left her devastated and alone She sets out to seek the only to the only living relative she has knowledge of, her biological father who left at the news of the pregnancy. Rejected a second time by her father Emilia has found herself rejected, lost, alone and broke. She meets Alex and her world will never be the same again.

Alex and Emilia's story is unconventional. He is drawn to her from his first encounter her. He is determined to be her savior ... perhaps seeking redemption for himself on some level and the steamy romance begins.

Shea tells the tale of a love story that has is swoon worthy. Alex lives a dangerous life that is not his choosing as part of drug cartel. He is determined to save Emilia without exposing her to his "real" life. As they become closer he begins to open up about his life ....but the lies mount up and she begins to doubt if she can trust him. Enter the very hot cop that is determined to bring an end to the cartel. He is intent on saving Emilia and she finds herself with two very different men trying to love and protect her..... and she will be forced to choose.

The dual narration works well.... great performances by both.

Credit and sale worthy!!! You will not regret this purchase.

Keeps you on your toes!

So many twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages or just playing the one more chapter game. I was unsure about the story in the beginning, but everything fell into into place and made sense, even some things that just blew me out of the water. Definitely worth the read/ listen.
The performances by Erin Mallon and Vikas Adam were perfection. Lots of emotional scenes that were just amazing. This was actually my first full book narration for Vikas. I asked a friend to recommend her favorite to me and I was not disappointed.

Freaking loved every second of it

This Book had to me captivated from the first few words till the very last. The perfect narrators voice to right amount of suspension and sex combined with an epic story

Great trilogy

This review is for the first 2 books. This series had just the right amount of suspense, heat, and chemistry. It hooks you in the first few chapters and before you know it you're done with all 3 books! I don't think there any dull moments, I devoured it all. The narrators were great. The male left a little to be desired in his female voice, but it wasn't horrible. I'd recommend
