El pintor Adrián Novoa, incitado por su amigo Xavier, compra una casa en una aldea de Galicia. Es la casa de sus sueños. En ella quiere encontrar la tranquilidad necesaria para explorar nuevos caminos en su pintura. Pero la casa esconde un profundo misterio que atrapa a Novoa como un imán.

Agustín Fernández Paz (Vilalba, Lugo, 29 de mayo de 1947-Vigo, Pontevedra, 12 de julio de 2016)1​ fue un escritor español en lengua gallega. Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación, trabajó como profesor de EGB (la actual Educación Primaria) en el Colegio Fogar de Santa Margarida (A Coruña) y en diferentes centros, y más recientemente como profesor de Lengua y Literatura Gallega en el IES Os Rosais 2 de Vigo hasta su prejubilación en 2007,2​ ganando al año siguiente el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil.3​
