I just finished Caught Up by Navessa Allen, and wow – what a ride! While the mob subplot leaned into familiar tropes (a bit cliché, to be honest), the emotional depth and character dynamics more than made up for it.
Nick Jr.’s total support of Lauren—no judgment, just love and respect—made this story stand out. I loved how he truly saw her and let her shine. Can’t wait for book three!

I half expected it to be kinda dull in comparison With lights out. Omg was I wrong on so many levels. The whole dynamic and the most wonderful wholesome end just melted my insides. This has to be my favorite author whose audio books just comes to live by the voice actors. Always an amazing experience Navessa THE AUTHOR YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!
