 Cento notti' è la poesia che dà il titolo alla raccolta dei venticinque componimenti di Carlo Vittori. Venticinque poesie composte lungo l'intera esistenza, ispirate alla vita e ad essa dedicate. L'amore è il tema dominante, ma al sentimento per la propria donna si accompagna anche quello verso la madre, verso la sorella perduta e verso gli affetti in generale. Le immagini richiamate nelle poesie attingono alla natura, nelle sue molteplici declinazioni, e alla quotidianità, e sono sottolineate dalle musiche originali di Marco Forni che accompagnano l'intera raccolta. Alcune liriche, come "Mattutino", "Se domani", "Incoscienza" e "Cento Notti" sono valse a Carlo Vittori l'assegnazione della Farfalla d'argento al Premio di prosa e poesia "50&più", mentre "Poesia" ha avuto menzione speciale alla XXIII edizione dello stesso Premio.
