Publisher's Summary

I get what's mine.

As the gun lay heavily in his hand, the weight of it was nothing compared to the pressure his father had put on him and the Vipers Creed Motorcycle Club year after year, dragging them all down in the process.

Cade had two choices: the club or his father. The club won.

It took a particular kind of man to kill his blood, but Cade had always believed in doing what was right for the club. To him, it was a small sacrifice to make things normal for him and his brothers. Then, when Trixie strode into his club, his normal was shot straight to hell.

Nobody steals from me.

When an employee stole from her, Trix Lamasters could have let it go. She could have let the thief fade into the background and chalk up the missing cash as a loss. She was Trix, after all - she always landed on her feet. But that wasn't her style. She was too stubborn, too damn proud. No one stole from her and lived to tell about it.

With pride, though, came consequences, and Cade Baker was hers.

I LOVE ME A ALPHA MALE AND CADE IS JUST THAT

Any additional comments?

Now, though I did enjoy this book there were some aspects or the way it was read that were very comical when shouldn't have been. I love books when men are dominating and sure of what they want. This is a good listen with some twits that I didn't expect any many that I new were coming. You will enjoy it.

Good Not Great

I LOVED the last 3 books I listened to by Ryan Michele, and love Mason Lloyd and Kendall Taylor. That said, the story just fell a little flat... There was too much history and not enough current, is the best way I can say it. Trix flipped from badda$$ b!tch to super subbie, and I wish there had been more involved in her getting over his d!ck moves as a teen. I just didn't fully believe their love story.

Sexy times were good, and the overall story was interesting, although Spook doesn't come out looking so smart after one of the twists...

SPOILER - defining moment of his life? Be a little more thorough about it!

Overall, I'm willing to check out the next one, and still a fan of the author and narrators!

Female narrator ruined it

Female narrator ruined this for me. Her male voices weren’t even believable. Totally distracted from the story. I listened as long as I could then gave up.

Mostly amazing ... until the last few chapters

SPOILERS: For the most part, I LOVED this book. I enjoyed that the author (and the narrators) weren’t afraid to get into the kinky, rougher side. But I felt that the story line was lacking. It was very detailed in the beginning and then towards the end, it felt really rushed. Once she was kidnapped, it fell apart for me. Cade said his father had a plan B but then shot him and it was over. Why mention a plan B then? Why mention the cameras if they weren’t going to go back to it later? I’m just so confused at the ending. I’d totally give it 5 stars if it were an hour longer with more detail and additional character development. Nothing was mentioned about the guy she was playing poker with that ended up being on the dads team... just totally lost me there.

Let this grab you it’s a good start

This is a good start to a new series . I love Ryan Michele M/C stories and the audios are no different. Mason Lily’s was great. His voice is smooth and clear. He knows how to the male parts of an M/C perfectly. The female narrator was okay not great but okay

Hero is Cade. Heroine is Trixie

Trixie is out for blood . Trixie owes a strip club and she lent some money to one of her girls . Now the girl can’t give her back her money. Trip finds out that her girl went to a M/C party , the M/C is the Vipers Club

The president of the M/C is Cade . Cade remembers Trixie from High School . He wanted his days and nights with her but family obligations came between them.
Trixie thinks Cade betrayed her.
Grab it and see do they work things out

I hate the abrupt endings

All of RM’s MC romances end way to abruptly. I rarely waste my time with books less than 8 or 9 hours long but, this book was part of the romance package so I gave it, and other RM romances, a try. The common denominator, which I feel is a weakness is the way that her books just end, as soon as the main conflict is resolved. It would be nice if the reader was able to experience a little of the HEA, with the H/h. Still, it was an enjoyable listen.
