Um Charlotte zu beschreiben, ist es hilfreich, einen Blick auf Geraldine zu werfen. Das ist einfach nicht so deprimierend: Geraldine ist hübsch, hat superreiche Eltern und alle Arten gängiger Unterhaltungselektronik, die mit dem Buchstaben "i" anfangen. Das alles ist und hat Charlotte nicht. Deswegen findet sie auch, dass Geraldine eine Kackbratze ist. Dummerweise ist die Kackbratze das beliebteste Mädchen der Klasse und hat gerade Einladungen für eine "Chill-out-Party" verteilt. Charlotte hat zwar nur durch Zufall eine abbekommen, aber das macht ja nichts. Konsequenz war noch nie ihre Stärke.
