About this listen

Something always goes sideways, but this is bigger than expected.

Maybe it's not an entirely bad thing, though, as mana-infected animals spreading over the world would definitely make everyone more open to the idea of the apocalypse. The question is what was Silas supposed to do about it, though.

He still couldn't tell anyone who wasn't inducted about the system. It was time to get creative. If that wasn't enough, though, he still had the wild hunt hanging over his head. Seven days to go, and then he'd be thrown into whatever twisted event the system had cooked up for him. The only good thing was that he had those seven days to train. He might not be the highest leveled of the Forerunners, but his mentor made sure he had the best foundation. He could only grow stronger from here.

(Edit: dropped the series after reading the fifth book)

The whole story in this book seemed to repeat over and over again. Lost count just how many times MC helps other humans become part of the system. First the love intrest, then the sister, then aliens, and the whole group from army fbi etc etc.

The worst thing was how in a chapter or two some of these new inducties seem to power level by using 10% stat bonus from MC. He has been grinding and each time he levels up the rest home group seem to gain stats just for being in the home team. And don't even get me started on the legendary and epic titles some of them got.

Some cool scenes with the President, the whole blowing up of an alien spaceship, the betrayal by one of the forerunners, and a few more.

But the book could have been way better some characters didn't get things just handed to them. The MC using time dilation spent months on end to skill, stack and get to an Epic level evolution. The FMC spent but days with her father in his lab and now they are at same level when it comes to their evolution? like what?

Won't drop the series. (dropped it after reading the fifth book)

But this was whole book was like Dragon ball super where Saiyans from other universes because super saiyan with stupid logic.

Could have been better
