Story
My name is Nate Temple, and I’m secretly a wizard. I ride a foul-mouthed unicorn, I drink with Achilles, and I’m pals with the Four Horsemen. I’ve even cow-tipped the Minotaur. I understand the theory of following the rules...I’m just not very good at the application. Because rules were meant to be broken, and St. Louis has a bit of a supernatural infestation these days. Someone should probably be keeping an eye on these things -and probably an eye on me, too. Before I blow up another building...or three.

Publisher's Summary
It’s time for Quinn MacKenna to pay off a debt - to Nate Temple. And New York City will never be the same....
Quinn MacKenna is a black-magic arms dealer from Boston, but her world drastically changed after accidentally robbing Nate Temple a few weeks ago.
Primarily, that her absolution might have come with some strings attached.... Like a trip to the Big Apple to steal a mysterious and deadly artifact for Grimm Tech - strictly off the books.
But it doesn't take her long to learn that she isn't the only one after the magical whatsit, and that the monsters in New York play for keeps. Key word being play. Because they've all heard about the little ginger from Boston, and want to see if she tastes as sweet as she looks....
And that's before she learns that Heaven and Hell have stepped into the game....
Maybe it’s time Quinn finds some allies from St. Louis. Or the Brooklyn Bridge may just become a memory.... Along with Quinn.
The newest antihero in the worldwide best-selling Temple Verse by Shayne Silvers. Join Cameron O’Connell and Shayne at the literary bar to sip a dirty cocktail of feisty Irish brogue - with an unhealthy splash of carnage - today!

an audiobook choice you will never regret
Rarely do you get such a perfectly matched story and narrarator so do not let this series slip by you. It's so well written, and entertaining. The narrator does such an incredible job of bringing it to life. The only thing that is missing is the sleep you wont get because you wont be able to shut it off.

Love it
Quinn is such a great character. Strong and spunky, Quinn is a gal of her word. If she tells you she will do something, by golly she is going to do it and she will do whatever it takes to make it happen. The Phantom Queen series is by far my favorite in the Temple verse for this very reason. I feel like Quinn is a very relatable person, just with a few extras the rest of us don't quite have. It's those extras that keep you guessing.
Narration on the series has been top notch so far. The range of the narrator is impressive to me. She manages to pull off several different accents with ease and finesse helping completely immerse you in this wonderful story. I can't wait to hear the rest of the series come to life in audio form since I've already read them on my own.

She’s a bit of me!
Love the entire Templeverse series of characters, but Quinn is by far the Queen. Her tuff attitude hides a vulnerability because she just doesn’t know who or what she is. To cover that, she has learned to take no shit! I know this attitude will ring true with many women out there.
Amanda has done a marvelous job of bring Quinn to life, and she is a pleasure to listen too. Once into this story, you will want more. It’s an addiction! Indulge! Once again Shayne and Cameron, Great job! Can’t wait to dive into the next story.👏👏👏👏👏

Absolutely thrilling!
I personally will rarely write reviews. But I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt that Amanda found her groove and the perfect rhythm with the storyline. The first book in the series had a lot of pauses in the script. Often her accent was high pitched and rushed. This one just flowed and had a perfect cadence.
The detail that the writing duo and Shayne himself gives with all of the Templeverse books is refreshing to say the least. Consistently has me on the edge of my driver's seat wondering what's going to happen next. Thankfully I've only missed my exit once while listening, deeply enthralled by this epic thrill ride. Thank you for keeping myself and many others entertained. Now onto Old Fashioned can't wait to listen to the sort of trouble she's in now.

Great Story!
Love how these stories expand the Templeverse! They are all so well written and tie together wonderfully! Someone needs to develop this into a high budget television series. So much great material!

New Favorite!
My new favorite series that can’t come out fast enough. I need book 3 now! Amanda Lee Cobb must narrate more books. She is AMAZING. Not even Irish but does the accent like she is. I need book 3 please.
