Publisher's Summary

Dare to Resist - Book one

He’s about to find a baby on his doorstep…and his assistant in his bed.

Austin Prescott is a lot of things. Ex-football player. Sports agent. And as of this morning? Father. Finding a baby on his doorstep should have been a joke, but the pink sticky note and baby carrier she came in is deadly serious.

What’s an out-of-his-depth bachelor to do? Call his tempting and beyond gorgeous executive assistant and beg her to move in.

Close quarters. A baby. Undeniable chemistry. What could possibly go wrong?

Dare to Tempt - Book two

He’s a smooth-talking jock in trouble. She’s the solution to his problems. Love is the last thing they expected to find.

Damon Prescott had it all. Star quarterback. Money. Fame. Now? He’s being accused of taking performance-enhancing drugs and banned from the sport and team he loves. Determined to prove he’s innocent, he hires tough-as-nails private investigator Evie Wolfe.

Evie’s used to men dismissing her, especially playboys like Damon Prescott, so she’s not buying the sexual lines he’s trying to sell. She’s with him to do a job, nothing more. But you know what they say about the best-laid plans? Sometimes you end up between the sheets with an arrogant football player anyway.

Dare to Play - Book three

He’s the bad boy of baseball who’s about to lose everything. She needs a husband to get custody of her teenage sister. Suddenly a marriage of convenience doesn’t look so bad.

Pitcher Jaxon Prescott has a lot on his plate. Major League Baseball. Reputation as a player. And now? He’s on the verge of losing it all. What’s a bad boy to do? Marry his sister’s best friend to save his career, even if it’s the opposite of everything he wants and believes in.

Macy Walker needs to provide stability, and marrying someone would do the trick. Luckily for her, her best friend’s brother needs a wife. They’re this close to getting exactly what they want - as long as they don’t fall in love.

Dare to Stay - Book four

He’s the one who left. She’s the one he left behind.

Willow James, athletic trainer for the Miami Thunder football team, knows abandonment and hurt. A child of foster care, she’s been moved around and left behind more times than she cares to count. Just when she was starting to let her guard down with Braden Prescott, he left for a two-year stint with Doctors Without Borders. Now he’s back.

He knows leaving her once was the biggest mistake of his life. Can Willow learn to trust him not to leave, especially when adventure comes calling again?

Not for me

I'm not enjoying this one... the narration, the way its written in third person and that early attraction thing... naah not much fun...

Just hear the first one just now but not sure if I will continue with the rest.

Good writing but

The writing is good, simple engaging stories.
However, Joe Arden's narration left a lot to be desired for. He is plain sounding like computer generated narration. Emotions are missing.

Get your facts straight

Sao Paulo Venezuela? São Paulo is in BRAZIL!! Typical white people behavior making shit up. Do your damn research before making shit up. In Brazil, they speak Portuguese. In Venezuela they speak Spanish. F-

oh give me a break, yuck!

Not even 2 minutes in and the hero is already fantasizing about bending an interviewee over his couch. Gag! Are we supposed to like these type of men? Seriously ? Where the heck is the romance. where's the fun?
1st book was just awful. I had no desire to go past it to the second.

Get an editor to o catch mistakes

Do you have an editor… If so why on earth would they let you get away with repeating full statements from one book to the next .

If you are going to write books about brothers the plot needs to be varied otherwise it is the same story with different names for the charters.

not impressed

I was excited to be able to start reading the series but after the first book and the fact that I do not like to hear the man's voice as the narrator I just couldn't go with the next in the series it just didn't address me. So if you want a book that is just so so this might be the one but it certainly wasn't for me

The voice of the male narrator is horrible

The voice of the male narrator ruined all 4 of stories. His voice was grating, arrogant, forced, plastic sounding and pretentious. Just Awful. By the time I got to the second story at the four my head was pounding and wanted to just scream, SHUT UP . Do not spend a credit on this book before listening to the sample. I will definitely be asking for my credit back. It’s unfortunate because the storylines were really cute. All of them were pretty much love at first sight so if you’re into sappy and happy ever after with no conflict these are stories for you. Sometimes I just want a break and listen mindlessly. The male narrator messed the whole experience up for me. I will never listen to another book narrated by Joe Arden again.

Nice light romance novels

I liked all four stories. Nice and light. I agree with other reviews, there was a little bit of repetition, but not too much that I minded.

Very romantic.

I loved all these stories. The collection consisted of four love stories and included a surprise baby, a mystery solved by a private detective, a marriage of convenience, turned true love. and a second chance romance, a favourite theme of mine. The narrators were good. It was a different style to what I'd been used to having the story told from the narrators point of view rather than in first person, where the male and female characters tell their own story. I can't wait to here about Bri and Hudson next.

Good, but....

The stories were good, but they came very quick to the conclusions.
As much I love the happy ending, I do love the suspense the run up to the happy ending, the will they won't they.
and these books just came to it very quickly, no initial doubt just just oh right he's done that fine we can work through that and they all lived happily ever after.

A "box set" of perfection

I loved being able to listen to all four stories in this series and I love the way they seamlessly knit together. The Preston-Dare family may seem to be absolute perfection but their stories tug at the heart strings and leave you with a warm glow. Perfectly narrated this is a must-listen to collection.

Terrible female narrator

Female narrator read as of she was rolling her eyes. Using emphasis and exclamation and mismatched times. Stories a little repetitive and missed opportunities.
