Der sechsjährige Oskar und seine vierjährige Schwester Romy aus dem Tumbawunda-Tal machen im Frühjahr eine schreckliche Entdeckung: Nirgends summt es, nirgends brummt es. Sind die Wildbienen im Garten etwa nicht mehr da? Und auch sonst stimmt irgendetwas nicht. Es sind viel weniger Vögel im Garten, weniger Hasen auf dem Feld. Was ist denn da los in der Natur? Nachdenklich gehen sie abends zu Bett. Doch die Wildbienen und die Tiere gehen ihnen nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Kurz vor dem Einschlafen passiert es: Im Halbschlaf sprechen sie in Angst um Hummeln, Eichhörnchen, Igel und Co. den magischen Code aus... und rufen das "Bee-Team"! Ruckzuck sind Oskar und Romy mittendrin: Gemeinsam mit den Ninjas der "Fantastic Ten" und der pinken Eisprinzessinnen-Gang dreht das "Bee-Team" das gesamte Tumbawunda-Tal einmal um. Doch wird es reichen, um alle zu retten? Am Ende steht nicht nur das Tumbawunda-Tal Kopf, ...sondern die gesamte Welt.
