Und so begann das wechselhafte Verhältnis von "MRR" und "GG". Ein halbes Jahrhundert der Auseinandersetzungen, zahlreiche Romane und Verrisse, Liebeserklärungen und Wut folgten. Volker Weidermann erzählt so farbig wie schillernd von der wechselseitigen Abhängigkeit der beiden und entwirft zugleich ein grandioses Panorama der Geschichte des 20. Jahrhunderts.
