 Erwin Grosche gilt als einer der poetischsten unter Deutschlands Kabarettisten. Sein neues Hörbuch erweckt jedoch eher den Eindruck eines kabarettistisch angehauchten Dichters. Die Texte könnten sehnsüchtiger kaum sein. "Du bist der Berg, ich bin ein Zwerg", singt er und erinnert an das romantisch-existentialistische Bild des Menschen, der verloren in der großen Welt steht. Seine Figuren wollen Anerkennung, Liebe und Freiheit, oder wenigstens bemerkt werden: "Sogar Mückengesumm ist für mich ein Hurrah". Seine deutsche Geliebte haucht ihm ihre Wünsche nach Exotik ins Ohr, die Kellnerin sehnt sich nach einem Raum, in dem unerfüllbare Wünsche in Erfüllung gehen.
