About this listen

It was supposed to be an easy assignment. But behind enemy lines, things never go as planned.

Alexander King and his team were sent to Haiti by the president of the United States as a favor to keep the Haitian president, Samuel Desir, safe in the midst of a volatile political climate. After refusing their services without reason, not only was Desir kidnapped, but King and his team were framed for the job.

On the run in a country without allies, things only become more difficult when they step right in the middle of a drug war to control Haiti as a pipeline for cocaine to America. Worse still is when the kidnapping of President Desir and Columbia’s cartels intersect, weaving a complicated web involving two different countries' wealthiest, most ruthless, and most powerful criminals.

The only way out is for King and company to dive in. But the water is murky, and the treachery so deep, it reaches all the way back to American shores.

King should never have been assigned this job. And now it might be the one that finally kills him.
