About this listen

Drawing from his experiences as a preschool teacher and a pretty good guy, Josh Gondelman charms audiences with his good-natured storytelling and cracks them up with his sharp, pointy wit. Josh's comedy touches on topics from rainbows to gangsta rap and makes them all equally hilarious thanks to his terrific writing and performing. In 2010, Josh traveled to Atlanta for the inaugural Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, where he turned heads and captured first prize!

A portion of that performance was aired on the G4 cable network, much to the thrill of the networks viewers and Josh's grandmothers. Since then, Josh has become an in-demand performer on a national scale at clubs and colleges and was hand-picked at the Great American Comedy Festival by the talent booker from Late Night With David Letterman. In early 2010, he was also the only featured male standup performer at the Women in Comedy Festival in Cambridge, MA.

In the past, he has competed in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition, been named among the Best of the Fest at the Boston Comedy Festival, and won the Chosen One Comedy Contest run by Heeb Magazine. Josh honed his improve skills as a member of the Family Show cast at Improv Boston, and has had his writing featured on McSweeny's Internet Tendency. He has appeared on the popular web series Quiet Desperation and ROFL. He is pleased to meet you!
