This thrilling, high-stakes adventure explores the fierce courage and deadly danger of the Q-ships like never before. Among them, the HMS Farnborough is the most successful Q-ship to take to the water.
1915. The Atlantic. The Kaiser U-boats prowl the seas. Only the Royal Navy stands in their way.
The relentless threat of German U-boats has forced the Royal Navy to deploy its most secret weapon: heavily armed and cunningly disguised merchant vessels—the Q-ships.
Commander Gordon Campbell, a seasoned officer in His Majesty's Navy, commands the Farnborough, a tramp steamer converted into a Q-ship. Under his leadership, the Farnborough becomes a deadly decoy, luring German U-boats into range for a brutal strike.
But when a dangerous encounter with a German U-boat escalates, Campbell finds himself in a race against time to outsmart the enemy.
The rules of warfare are rapidly changing. The Royal Navy's secret weapon is shifting the tide of war. And Campbell must protect the Q-ship's secret before more British lives are lost.
Will they succeed in a deadly game of subterfuge, or will the price of their deception be paid in blood?
Perfect for fans of C.S. Forester, John Drake, Patrick O'Brian, Bernard Cornwell, and Griff Hosker.
