 In einer Plastiktüte, an das Tor eines Tierheimes auf Mallorca gebunden, befindet sich ein sechswochen alter Hunde-Welpe mit blauen Augen - Fido. Marion Grillparzer verliebt sich sofort in diese blauen Augen und beschließt, dem Husky-Foxl-Mischling ein neues Zuhause zu schenken. Doch das Mallorca-Mitbringsel hat leider nicht nur positive Eigenschaften, sondern strapaziert die Nerven seiner neuen Besitzer schon recht bald.

Marion Grillparzer hat sehr kurzweilige und unterhaltsame Geschichten zu ihrem Fido verfasst, und das damit verbundene Chaos, aber auch die kleinen Glücksmomente mit flotter Feder und viel Humor beschrieben. Bei der vergnüglichen Hörbuchfassung schließt der Hörer Fido sehr schnell in sein Herz und will ihn - wie Marion Grillparzer - nicht mehr missen.
