Publisher's Summary

Bai Rouyun continues her journey as she tries to figure out her purpose of rebirth.

Was she merely lucky by stumbling across the Primal Chaos Pagoda, or was there something unknown hidden in the darkness?

Along the journey, Bai Rouyun is facing many difficult choices and tries to gain a deeper understanding of her purpose of living. Is revenge the most important, or is she willing to let go of the past and live for herself?

As she stumbles towards an answer, new and unknown knowledge appears that changes her entire view on her life, and the world in which she lives.

good movement in story

good movement in story, didn't stagnate much in the storyline and really picked up towards the end. but unlike some of tinalyngas works this book has dragged on in some of the char dev parts that kinda put you to sleep. just too much description and not enough happening. the narrator does a great job but is weak when things drone on, her tone can get a bit monotonous when nothing's happening. I really feel like a dual narration would have livened things up. overall I'm hoping for a bit more action and story progression in the next book because if it's another slow one this might be the first Tina series I drop

ended to fast

huge build up to nothing. should have put more effort into the competion where she could have participated instead of just aborting in a few paragraphs.
