Alberto e Lorenzo non potrebbero essere più diversi: Lorenzo, il fratello maggiore, è un campo gravitazionale che cammina. Alberto, il minore, detto "Zavorra" per il suo essere sempre così attaccato al fratello più grande, è invece un bambino timido, bravo a scuola e giudizioso.

Con il passare degli anni però, il loro rapporto inizia a mutare. Alberto e Lorenzo cercano di farsi strada, ciascuno a modo proprio, attraverso la tempesta che sono gli ultimi anni di liceo, dell'università ed infine del lavoro, finendo per allontanarsi del tutto.
