Publisher's Summary

Relive the sensuality, the romance and the drama of Fifty Shades Freed through the thoughts, reflections and dreams of Christian Grey.

E. L. James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that enthralled millions of fans around the world.

You are cordially invited to the wedding of the decade, when Christian Grey will make Anastasia Steele his wife. But is he really husband material? His dad is unsure, his brother wants to organise one helluva bachelor party and his fiancée won't vow to obey....

And marriage brings its own challenges. Their passion for each other burns hotter and deeper than ever, but Ana's defiant spirit continues to stir Christian's darkest fears and tests his need for control. As old rivalries and resentments endanger them both, one misjudgement threatens to tear them apart.

Can Christian overcome the nightmares of his childhood and the torments of his youth and save himself? And once he's discovered the truth of his origins, can he find forgiveness and accept Ana's unconditional love?

Can Christian finally be freed?

Don’t waste a credit!

I pre ordered this!

Good points:
Zachary is at his best. Well paced, various accents and voices and now I know how to pronounce some French words! Listened to a lot of his work and he’s so easy and ear pleasing.

That’s where the good ends

I’m a fan of the series. Read them all, listened to all, saw movies etc but this is a steaming pile of mud.

Bad points:
Too much sex. There I said it! I was fast forwarding from about hour 2. Repetitive, boring (I read reverse harem from J Bree, Tate James and et el... Ive read good written sex scenes).
Lost the story flow by them banging every second of every day sheesh. Honestly, 27hrs could’ve been a lot less if EL James had skipped a few boinks (and I requested a refund in hr 9). We already knows what happens.
Absolute disservice to fans of the series. Many of us have waited a long time for this and what’s been published is about the money, not the loyal fan base.

Do not waste your money. Not worth it.

Very Good

Enjoyed the Shades trilogy much much more from Christian’s POV than Ana’s. Have not read any of the books because who would with Zachary Webber’s sexy voice narrating the story. Thank you Zachary your talent, acting ability and amazing voice made Christian’s character come alive. Loved gravelly voice Welch and British Flyn so much x

Zachary Webber at his absolute best

While listening I often forgot that Mr Webber was narrating all the characters, especially Dr Flynn and some of the nurses. Full of extra detail as we hear Fifty Shades in Christian’s Point of View.

Captivating

loved it, couldn't put it down. I laughed out loud, cried and felt frustrated with them. I screamed at Christian when he was being an ass and felt Anna's pain. I cried with her when he was loving and oh so tender and forgave him. Zachary delivered the right amount of expression to make the story real. I'm impressed with his ability to change voices and keep them correct. it was like listening to a play rather than a book being read. The story from Christian's pov. had so many surprises and actually gave the original story more depth. it was facinatinting to see how he has planned every move and action from the beginning to the end.

Long awaited

I really enjoyed this version of Freed.
Zachary Webber really does justice to Christians story. Allowing the listener/reader to see his vulnerability and pain.
Ms James has thoroughly researched various aspects of Christians business, his activities eg flying helicopters and gliders. And of course Seattle.
We see his increasing regard for his family as his love for Ana grows.
Finally the reality of his associations with Elena was poisonous,
Yes Christian Grey grew up.
Of the trilogy I think this one is the best.

Greys Thoughts

It was so good to hear Greys perspective in his sessions with Flynn and especially Ana’s baby bombshell when he ran into “Ms Robinson”. I know many of us wondered not only how that came about but what happened. And the epilogue was just beautiful.

Thank you for finishing off such a masterpiece series. It was a perfect ending.
