Mein Name ist Fiona.

Ich habe mich entschieden, meinen Auftrag als Kriegerin wahrzunehmen und bin aus der Verborgenen Welt in die Gefrorene Welt zurückgekehrt. Das führte allerdings auch dazu, dass Katharina jeden Kontakt zu mir abgebrochen hat. Sie ist unauffindbar.

Nachdem ich bereits weiß, dass es Vampire gibt, erhalte ich die Gelegenheit, sie näher kennenzulernen. Besonders lustig ist das nicht, auch wenn Anne Marie sich bemüht, mir die Konsequenzen zu erleichtern.

Und dann ist da noch Emily. Alle halten sie für abgrundtief böse, doch so einfach liegen die Dinge nun einmal nicht.

Und schließlich muss ich lernen, dass die Verborgene Welt vielleicht doch mehr ist als nur der Ort, wo die Toten sich versammeln. Vielleicht ist sie sogar mehr Realität als die Gefrorene Welt, unsere Welt, die Welt der Materie und der Illusion.
