Excellent
This is the second one I've listened to, by this lovely woman. Totally engaging! Vibrant descriptions of 1960's London - so good I thought I'd lived it myself. A bit predictable in places, but the main character is so lovable, I easily over looked it. Can't wait to start in on the next one.

Disappointing
I didn't enjoy this story at all, I couldn't seem to identify with the character of Georgia or see her even in my mind. The story was really boring with not much going on really & I very nearly just stopped listening a few times through boredom! But wanted to see it to the end anyway in case it picked up.
The narrater I didn't think was very good either, I disliked her attempt at male voices & found it quite comical when it wasn't supposed to be! And the sex scenes were just cringe!!!
It's a shame because I did really enjoy Belle by Lesley Pearse but not this one.

Georgia by Lesley Pearce
Gripping storyline, very well read, not a good one to go to bed with though, it will keep you awake listening to a graphically described plot!!

Compelling
I have listened to a lot of Lesley Pearse’s books lately starting with the belle series. But this this would be my first review.
I have found the books I have listened to from this author to be exceptional, there have been different narrators but each of them including Emma Powell have been as good as each other.
The best thing I find is the longevity of the books and how you are not left wondering as the books come to a conclusion.
This book Georgia is no exception. You will be excited, shocked, flustered and brought to tears with a rollercoaster of love, loss, envy and hate. With a strong central female character that you can see and feel as if you were a fly on the wall as the story progresses through the years.
Please be mindful that some of the romance would be 18+ ( even made me blush )

Beautiful story
I really enjoyed this story, although quite predictable it was a beautiful story of friendship and endearing love along with drama and deceit.
