Romance was never on the agenda, and Lilah’s not positive Isaac likes her that way. But all signs seem to point to love. Unless she’s reading them wrong? One thing’s for sure: Lilah wanted change, and things here . . . they're certainly different than what she’s used to.

Deaf pride 🤍
I am not deaf so I don’t know much about the culture as someone who is involved in it is, this book taught me about the culture of deaf individuals. It made me aware of the range of options and the happiness some people have with being deaf.
The book also had some heavy scary moments, which were believable in their escalating nature. The ending reflected the characters experiences. Overall I enjoyed it!
