Great stories, read adequately, usually
Narration on this is of the older sort, when acting was more subdued and more monotone readings ruled. There are some strange voices and some dry flat performances, but if you can work through that, the stories are gold. But I have a hard time listening for long as it makes me a little tired. I think that is as plain as things can be, so I will not elaborate. I really enjoy the selection and every one of them has charm and value.

Wonderful collection of stories
I love almost all the writers in this collection but had not heard any of the stories. It’s a lovely collection filled with gentle humour, a real sense of humanity. and a surprising amount of optimism. Surprisingly enjoyable. At first the reading voice grated but I quickly got used to it and found it easy and clear.
