Wer braucht schon ein Happy End?! Liebe ist was für Idioten. Das zumindest findet das Audrey. Nach der Trennung ihrer Eltern muss sie allein mit ihrer frustrierten Mutter zurechtkommen. Deshalb nimmt sie einen Nebenjob im Kino an und trifft dort auf Harry. Der ist eigentlich der nächste Martin Scorsese, nur weiß das noch niemand. Während er auf seinen Durchbruch als Filmemacher wartet, verbringt er seine Zeit mit dem Aufsaugen von Popcorn, mit Flirten und mit Gras rauchen. Damit ist er ganz sicher nicht Audreys Traumtyp. Trotzdem verlieben sich die beiden Hals über Kopf ineinander. Audrey fühlt sich, als wäre sie in einem dieser Kitschfilme gelandet, die sie eigentlich so verabscheut. Aber ein Happy End gibt es eben nur im Film...
