Story
Maximoff Hale is a force of nature. A ship unwilling to be steered. Headstrong, resilient, and wholly responsible - the 22-year-old alpha billionaire can handle his unconventional life. Born into one of the most famous families in the country, his celebrity status began at birth. He is certified American royalty. When he's assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, he comes face-to-face with the worst case scenario: being attached to the tattooed, MMA-trained, Yale graduate who's known for "going rogue" in the security team - and who fills 1/3 of Maximoff's sexual fantasies.

Story
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother. And that his best friend has a crush on me. And that I just moved in with them. Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?

#Marrow for life
This book is freaking everything I ever wanted. I could listen to stories about Maximoff and Farrow all day (especially if it's the sexy voices of JF Harding and Alexander Cendese) I teared up/ cried so many times. SO MANY EMOTIONS! I loved it. Freaking love love loved it.
If you've only listened to the Like Us series, do your self a favor and listen to the Addicted and Calloway Sisters series. It makes alot of things make more sense and enjoyable. I cannot recommend this series enough.
Well done sisters Ritchie. Well done.

HLU and the entire “Like Us” series is a must read
HLU is the 6th book in the “like us” series this series is brilliantly written by Krista & Becca Ritchie. I love all the characters (The Famous ones and the hot bodyguards) but I do have a few favorite characters like Farrow & Maximoff their love story tugs at your heart in so many ways. Their love story is captivating l felt so many emotions while I read HLU, I laughed out loud, cried and swooned. Farrow and Maximoff’s Love is epic!!! you see their love evolve throughout the series their love for each other is so tender, they share a profound admiration towards one another. I could barely contain my excitement when the book was released last year I preordered the book in paperback and on audible as soon as it was announced. When audible released the book this week I listened until it reached the final chapter I highly recommended that you read “Headstrong Like Us “ and the entire series you will absolutely love each and every book in the series Looking forward to the upcoming books in this series. Until then happy reading:-)

Meh.
First let me say listening to a just ok Ritchie book is still a great way to spend a day. I love them and I think that’s why I am disappointed. I’m still giving it 4 stars because the characters and relationships they have developed over 16 books are still intriguing and I love them all.
Spoilers
But I have to say since Alphas like us each book has gotten progressively wordier, repetitive and more ridiculous. I just want to edit the heck out of these last 4 books because the relationships are there! They have the tough part down! Just quit telling me how much Moffy loves his family! And how awesome Farrow is at his job and how he HAS to protect moffy. I got it. I’ve listed to 40 hours of it at this point. (And while we are at it I get it Jane really really really loves Thatchers dick)
I would also really like a bit more reality sprinkled in here. Like ok I’ve already given up on the fact that no one would let their significant other be their bodyguard with not one but two relationships. It is a total conflict of interest but fine I give you that premise but then this happens.... Farrow makes out with Moffy at his workplace immediately after giving the temp bodyguard crap for not watching the exits but that’s fine cuz he is a badass and can watch everyone, protect Moffy, and get a blowjob and don’t forget he can jump into a crowd with a baby strapped to his chest because he’s the best. Only Farrow can protect Moffy. Also he’s 22... do we really need to stick him with a kid already? I get it. He loves family. But like a year ago he was NDAing chicks and dudes in clubs for once night stands. I just need like 15% more reality then I’m happy. I mean it is already hard enough to believe that the kids of reality stars that only had one season are this famous for doing absolutely nothing. Like Paris Hilton’s kids 15 years from now aren’t going to close down a mall. (I know they have the docuseries but still...)
Also I was so excited that we were going to get more Lo and Lily and then we got crap with Lo’s therapist which was totally UNNECESSARY and weird and the crap with Lily’s mom makes no sense. What on earth was she doing to them? I don’t get it. And who has a dog die and then gets not one not two not three but FOUR DOGS the same day. What world does that happen in?
That being said positive things: the wedding made me cry, I actually liked Thatcher and Jane in this book... I didn’t like them in their own books so I was super confused, and I am super excited for the next two books I didn’t think I would want Jack and Oscar but they have sold me... and gawd I want kitsullietti or whatever ship name you want for them.
I wrote this on my phone immediately after finishing it. I own the lack of commas.

BEST OF THE SERIES SO FAR!
This book was my favorite of the series! So much love, angst, fun, and great sexy times. It had absolutely all the feels. Harding and Cendese did an amazing job narrating. They've done an wonderful job of connecting the audience with the characters throughout this entire series.
I hope Krista and Becca write another in this series. There is plenty of potential storyline to warrant another chapter in the lives of this family. The allure and charming personalities of these siblings, cousins, bodyguards, etc. provides such a rich platform for additional books. Fingers crossed!

Everything you want
OK so usually when I am most looking forward to a story it disappoints me and though this didn't go how I expected it was everything I had hoped for. I love the development of Maximoff and Farrow and the growing and changing relationships they have with everyone. There are a few surprises along the way. The narrators make this so much better than just reading though some of the parents voices were a bit cringe worthy overall they did a good job.

Over it
I enjoyed the previous books in the series but this one was very predictable and more of the same. I don’t like not finishing books but at least this was an audiobook and I could listen to it on super speed and still get the gist. Don’t think I would have finished if I was actually reading. Probably great if you are a super fan but for me it was just meh. These narrators are two of my favorites when it comes to audiobooks. They made a so so story okay to listen to.

EPIC
This entire series would make an EPIC movie or TV show series! Personally I'm only interested in Farrow and Maximoff’s story and definitely can't wait for Oscar and Jack’s story! The writing is great but the narrators totally bring it home. Both Harding & Cendese deliver every emotion and scene between the leads so well I feel like I’m watching a movie. Well done!

Gahhhhh! I am a sappy, sappy maple
Freaking Mafi and his gorgeous amazing stud of a fiancé...
Why do they make me so sappy? Why do they have me sporting the dumbest, hearteye emoji of a smile?
Why can i not get enough of them? Or even the rest of the clan? (Minus the crow. #TheCrowMustGo)
The Ritchies made us a part of the epic and amazing #Marrow world. I am such a fan!
But can we talk about these two talented narrators!?!?! Holy smokes. Farrow and Mafi are alive in the husky, sexy alpha like...duo. Cendese and Harding need to do this again. and again. and again.

Oh Marrow, my heart just melts for these two men.
The instalment continues with somewhat of a culmination of Maximoff and Farrow's story with their wedding getting ever closer. With Jane continuing as their wedding planner, and with the nightmare that was Scotland behind them, it's time to breathe in and enjoy the day and hope and pray that Grandmother Calloway doesn't create a storm.
This book had a slow and steady feel to, unlike its predecessors, and there were more fun times than tension but it does enable readers to spend more time with the youngest members of the family which was nice. I guess the wedding was the best way of bringing everyone together for readers. That said, Maximoff and Farrow's pre-wedding preparations face an interesting and unexpected hurdle with a couple of cute additions and this just made the whole book so much sweeter.
I did find myself struggling with Maximoff's character at times in this instalment. For someone who holds the younger members of the family together and seen as the father figure of the famous offspring, I still felt that Maximoff was very immature at times and his vulnerability, which was previously adorable, started to slightly irritate me. Farrow is definitely still very much the glue which holds Maximoff together despite their battles for supremacy. As much as I love this duo, I did find their sexual encounters overly done and too repetitive on this occasion. I just didn't feel the love in every scene and found myself skipping over some parts. I also felt the writing was a little less seamless at times and unlike before, I felt changes in the writing styles and content.
Sully is probably still my favourite female character and she even became a kick-ass heroine at one point, I can't wait for her story. We were also given a hint at what Oscar and Jack will be facing in the future and boy does their journey look rocky.
This book is definitely hit some high notes for me and this was made all the better for the audible narration. It's pure listening bliss on your ears!

Just Epic!! 😊😢😂
I just love the main characters, their connection, as well as siblings, the family, extended families and friends.
This is the last story of Maximoff and Farrow as the main characters as the majority of the series has been about them, but looking forward to hearing the next instalment 😊
This is a great series whether read or listened to, and I highly recommend you listen from the beginning (book #1 - Damaged Like Us) to fully understand the concept and characters of the series (and there are some right characters - the ‘Oliveiro Brothers’ to name a couple)
A fantastic read/listen definitely 5 🌟 across the board!!

Sweet
Narration is good, story is reasonably sweet if a little incredulous and over the top.
