Publisher's Summary

Gray Fowler, star NFL tight end, is being pursued by a stalker, so his team hires a protection agency to keep Gray under the watch of a bodyguard at all times. When Gray meets Dru Porter, an agent assigned to him, he's indignant. How can an attractive young female half his size possibly protect him?

But Dru's a former Marine, an expert markswoman, and a black belt. She's also ferociously determined to uncover the identity of Gray's stalker. And she's just as determined to avoid any kind of romantic attachment between herself and the rugged football player with the mysterious past. But the closer they get to finding the stalker, the closer they grow to each other.

As the danger rises, can Dru and Gray entrust their hearts - and their lives - to one another?

Love Becky Wade books

Would you consider the audio edition of Her One and Only to be better than the print version?

No, I was not happy with the narrator at all.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She did a terrible job with the male voices and accents.

1000 stars!

All the Porter books have been A-MAZ-ING, but this one blew me out of the water! I loved Dru and Gray's story. Watching her feisty, self-confident personality clash with his larger-than-life football self was nothing but fun. The humor, suspense/mystery, and romance all combined for an outstanding story. This series ranks in my top 5 all-time favorites!

A good book

This book in the Porter family series has an element of mystery/suspense. Honestly speaking, the last half of the book was better than the first half. I really liked seeing how God used Dru to help Gray see he needed to change his life. You'll also get to be there for Meg's (she was from book 1) long awaited pregnancy!

The narrator did a good job.. Although some of the voices sounded very immature - especially Ty.

Very Good --But

I found this on a list of Dove Awards and felt excited to listen. The humor is excellent, the banter fun, and the mystery is good. However Dru's and Gray's story often feels like a family saga. The mystery lacked support.

Potter series book 4

I'm not sure if it was the narrators take on the characters or the story itself but this was my least favorite of the Porter Series books and Dru my least favorite sibling. That being said, it was still enjoyable and I do like that we got to check in on the rest of the Porters.

Not her best

The overall story was not as good as her others in the series. And the characters especially the main character were super cheesy. Also, I did not love how you could hear the speaker swallow... It kind of grossed me out
