Right from the start we jump straight into tragedy and emotional wounds when Lydia gets a tragic news that changes her entire world and then straight into action when Colby finds himself wounded while saving a little one.
Somehow these two strangers cross paths and even though they both are battling heavy mental wounds yet somehow find genuine connection with each other but nuh uh...it was not that straight a path to come together.
That entire scene was so gripping and made me teary eyed when Colby bravely jumps into the fire and does his best to save an innocent life.
Lydia feels this inexplicable connection and wants to see this brave man who didn't care for his life to save someone.
The way she's intrigued and quietly goes to his hospital room to check on him and finds the entire Morgan clan in there, I got her chaotic feelings.
Lydia is definitely a sweet one and the narrator did her part so well. Especially capturing the way Lydia gets emotional or any emotion that she's feeling, just done so superbly.
For Colby it was actually love at first sight but his hands are tied because the lady he's smitten with can't date him as she's his physical therapist but also there's something that she's hiding from him.
I have to say though...the chemistry between Lydia and Colby and the hot times are so freaking Scorching....oh my... seriously these books have spice that will make you go crazy with all the passion and intensity.🥵🔥🌶️
Ahhh...this book melted me time and again...the little kids, children of Lydia were so adorable but what had me smiling and teary eyed at the same time is the way Colby becomes a father figure to them.
Little Isabella was so freaking cute with the way she's team Colby from day one and then there's theo, the eldest who takes his time but I loved how Colby ropes in his brothers to help theo out. Then there's little Beatrice, who's soo cute and makes Colby work hard for her affections...
Their sweet and beautiful family had my entire heart and seriously this book might be really heavy emotionally with the way I did shed tears a few times but it makes a home in your heart and makes your heart smile with how beautiful relationships can be formed through love and doesn't have to be blood related to love someone from your whole heart.
