The translation by samir and Anu khare is very average. they have not been able to find the correct Hindi term for many words. To me this was jarring. also on the pronunciation front. Wherever sameer had to pronounce a र in conjunction with another consonent, which is rather frequent he would pronounce it as double r which is bad and reveals poor understanding of Hindi. I have pointed out earlier that a review of translation and reading in hindi is definitely required

POOR TRANSLATION AND INADEQUATE READING

A book which changed my perception about India drastically. The vision and the optimism, Pt. Nehru showed towards the sons and daughters of this soil possess a touch of a founding father -- someone who believes in the capability of this country -- just like a parent is able to foresee the inherent capabilities of his child or a gardener who nourish and waters his plants regularly in the early years, so that it can become capable enough in a few years to withstand all kinds of winds and weather related adversities.

This book will also help people to come out of the social media and it's misinformation bubble and will provide an opportunity to know the real Jawaharlal Nehru and will also give you glimpse of why Gandhiji chose him as his successor over everyone else!

Simply perfect ✨
