Horrifically triggering & misogynist
This is an atrocious book. While the author sometimes disagrees with the awful bullshit she spouts, it's not worth it. Gems like describing how the insult "She's so skinny she has to wear snowshoes in the shower" has now become a compliment, indirectly referring to an eating disorder as "disgusting," and (jokingly?) referring to women as the "weaker" sex are all in poor taste. This book is far more harmful than helpful.

Terrible
Just terrible - nothing else to say about it. There are many books out there that are much, much better such as "The Like Switch"

Way too much fluff for my taste.
I couldn't listen to the audio book for more than 10 minutes at a time. I just wished the author would just get to the point... also the voice acting was too much for me. I will try other books with similar title.

Was this written in 1954?
Wow, there are so many cringe worthy moments. I’m hoping this was written a long time ago and did not age well. It’s horrifying to imagine people still think like this in 2021.

Good info
This audio was a bit drawn out but definitely has usable information. I’d really suggest reading the book or be prepared to take notes while listening. There is a lot of information that’s impossible to retain all in one sitting.

Good info, but drawn out.
The book has good info, but the story is boring, how its told is enthusiastic, and it could be shortened. I would like to finish the book, but I've had to stop due to the fact it could keep me. info given is valuable, but the book told keeps me at bay. if you dont mind a boring book, and you want the info. get it.

Didn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed this book and all it’s helpful stories. Great reminder that we are all not the same, learning about people starts early in life & being popular doesn’t mean being liked.

Not her finest work
Unfortunately I did not feel like the book matched her previous work. Usually her books have more aha moments. Not many of those in this one.

Author has problems & some internalized misogyny
The word "emaciated" is used to describe skinny women. That word is pretty offensive and disrespectful to those who suffer from diseases like anorexia. The characters on 90210 aren't overly skinny models. They are somewhat slim, that's all. By today's standards they are slim but those were the norms back then. And on attending the support group for guys who felt guilty about their wives' achievements. What? I'd anticipate one for something like anger management. It raises alarms.

struggling to finish it
I struggled to get past first few chapters because I found it lacking in substance and far too full of opinions. I was offended by the opinions against males disguised as humour. It lacked credibility for me.
