Publisher's Summary

Mick Gatto. Gambler. Underworld veteran. Melbourne gangland survivor.

Mick Gatto in his best-selling autobiography finally reveals the man behind the headlines. Gatto's unique position - of knowing all the players in the Gangland Wars but not being involved in drug trafficking - gave him a remarkable perspective to watch the battles unfold. I, Mick Gatto is an extraordinary insight into a colourful and mysterious world that few even know exists.

“I haven’t ever done the wrong thing”

What a load of crap. Wants us to believe he is a great guy that hates violence and money. Would have been a great book if it was believable.

Self indulgent fantasy

Simon Westaway’s voice is well suited but the narration is often glitchy. The authenticity of the content is highly questionable and at one point I considered not returning to finish the audiobook. I regret funding such a project would advise against it to others considering the purchase. Chopper did it far better.

Dont Bother

Complete waste of time, better to just watch Underbelly. With everything that has come out in the last few years 2019 - 2020 Mick is clearly full of it and should be locked up.

Now this is a book about Melbourne Crime !!!!

Even if you believe half of this story, it is a great listen. Love him or hate him, Mick Gatto is a true character of Australian society on so many levels. Simon Westaway was brilliant.

A great insight

This book was a great insight to Mick’s life, from the time he was a child to the man he is today.

Great Book

It’s a great book I have gained so much more respect for Mick Gatto . He is a very intelligent businessman. And not the gangster the press and police have tried to make him out to be . Don’t make the mistake he is a hard man but you will enjoy the book
