About this listen

Tiasha: I am very annoyed.

Aakaash: That’s your job, Tiasha. Good that you are doing it well.

Tiasha: And I am very serious.

Aakaash: When are you not!

Tiasha: Argh! I hate you, Aakaash.

Aakaash: Thank God for small mercies!

Just like a scoop of vanilla ice cream makes the sizzling chocolate brownie delicious, these best friends complement each other. A chef by passion, Tiasha jumps and waves through her professional choices while Aakaash, the witty stand-up comedian, knows exactly what he wants. He is the tranquility which refugees crave to stay in, and she is the refugee who wants to wander and explore.

Imperfect Misfits is a story of perfect misfits, food, frolic, emotions and their endless imperfections. The question is, will their friendship survive through this wavy journey of love?

I just came back after reading "I think I am in love" by this same author.. can't imagine that same author would do such a novel..
this story is super natural by the way.. & it actually starts & ends in the same plot.. no progress at all..
i swear that your feeling at the first page and that of last page will be same coz even story will remain the same rounding the same place again & again across 200 pages(i guess).. I don't wanna sound rude.. but this is so much disappointing that how did she manage to do such a novel.. it seems like the female character was the author (devanshi) itself.. being workaholic (just that girl was in a different occupation)..& she portrayed this novel to be her own fairy tale imagination with her Mr.perfect, caring & loving partner.. without the risk of indulging herself into serious relationship commitment..
it's really irritating when they say that work comes before people.. it just shows the maturity level dude.. plz.. work & building a carrier is good.. but nothing can come before relationship & people..
& don't impose your own thought as verse for life.. even the narration is irritating.. where it goes like author herself is speaking about her characters from general public perspective wherein she goes each now & then asking "hai na?" for reassurance.. I mean seriously dude?!!
from her narration, it wasn't like she is displaying her view of life to the world.. but it's like "this is how the life is, hai na?" I mean why?? this is all out of disappointment & no hate to you.. I was the one who was really taken away when I read "I think I am in love" where i read it so slow at the final pages coz I don't want to end it fast.. but this one.. just pissed me off..
only good thing was the narrating voice : sindhu did a great job.. her voice is too good for the book..that's all

I won't recommend this to anyone
