I'm not sure, but even though sports romance and hockey particularly is my favourite trope, I'm finding it challenging to really appreciate these audiobooks. It might be AC's narration. Something about his tone just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know, I can't pinpoint it exactly. Also, these books dont flow quite as well as Sarina bowen or Elle Kennedy's hockey series which I've re-read multiple times. When I was listening to this, I was kinda waiting for it to get over so I could move on to my next audiobook. 3 underwhelming stars
