Publisher's Summary

Perhaps some memories are better left buried.

Marjorie Steel and Bryce Simpson have finally declared their love for each other, but their chance for happiness is once again yanked out from under them. As Marjorie is forced to confront her demons and find an inner strength to save herself and another, Bryce rushes to solve the puzzles his dead father left behind.

An ominous lawyer, twins with a secret, and a premature birth present new obstacles as the two lovers scramble to escape the conundrum and leave their families in peace, all while their desire for each other becomes more and more insatiable. When an unexpected figure from the past emerges, leaving them both thunderstruck, the mystery deepens even further.

It’s a race against the past.

It’s a race for love.

Do not like the male narrator

The male narrator drops every ‘g’ in an ‘-ing’ ending word. I could look passed it if it were only the Brice character but he did it with every character he voiced. Super annoying.

Lackluster Ending to series

Not what i expected as an ending to this multi book series. Marjory was annoying as heck. The wrap up was ridiculously tame for a story that had such intense characters and diabolical schemes. Also, This may be petty but this male narrator not pronouncing the g on the end of words was getting on my nerves (ie. everythin, nothin, anythin).

Love!

I have loved the Steel family series. It is and was a great saga. I am thinking about the next one with the father.

started out odd

the beginning reminded me of an older western and I was really glad when it picked up and got out of it a bit. It didn't fully get out of it but enough that I didn't DNF it. Thank goodness cause I love the Steel Brothers Saga... hope the next one is better.

Hmm

This series flipped on me. After not loving most of the narrators, I love these narrators, but the story no longer held for me. It’s hard to live up to the shock and intensity the original 9 books had, and while it was cool to see Marjorie’s love story, the rest of the story felt forced.

Not Pleased

Want a disappointing end after all this time. The steel brothers story were ten time better than Marjorie’s story. The author was all over the place with no conclusion in sight. This was a 60 chapter epilogue and should have ended in the prior book.

I’m glad this is over

Finally, this story has an end. It was actually a very beautiful ending but I was really starting g to hate Marge with her “friend”.

Story and performance were sappy and poor.

The female reader was so bad and overly dramatic. The love scenes were so contrived I had to pass. The male performer dropping the I NG with a fake accent of a country guy was ridiculous. The whole story was unbelievable and stupidly far-fetched, and the overuse of adjectives to describe love ones was sophomoric. It was just bad.

I expected so much more

Whilst I love the Steele brothers saga this ending disappointed me a little. It was predictable I knew the outcome at the beginning of the book. The ending was short when so much more needed to be said. The narration was good.

Disappointed

Where do I start?? I have no idea, I had to stop listening after 40 mins. I found it difficult to listen to the last 2 books in this series but this one has now turned me off.
Story fell flat, narrators sounded like poorly recorded robots.
Each chapter felt like a repeat nothing new.
