Good story. Decent reading
The story concept is pretty good (I always like it when other characters from the universe make an appearance). It's obvious that the story is a bit older when discussing certain aspects of Stark's technology, but it is well integrated into the plausibility. There are a couple of twists that can be guessed but it still pays off in the end.
The reader of s a good performer but range of acting is not his strong point. With one or two exceptions, the different characters all remain "the same". Other reviewers have stated this reader "poor", which is harsh; he is clear and precise in his diction but there is not much variation when trying to embody another character.
Overall, it is a fun listen and a well spun yarn.

Good choice.
This book takes place AFTER Iron Man The Armor Trap. Just a heads up. I prefer this story over the other though. It's kind of cool having Cap and T'challa appear in this one, though the choice for villains was kind of lacking. All in all I recommend it.

Terrible story good performace
Let me start by saying I’m not sure if the problems with the story originate with the author or if this is based on some old story out of comics. Unfortunately it is extremely predictable and redundant. The first 5 conflicts are basically the same with different colors/costumes. The “twist” near the end is so predictable you see it coming waaay before the hero, which kept me wondering how ironman could he duped again... again.... again. Also it is filled with Colloquialisms left and right. Its just very unoriginal. If the author was just mirroring the comics its not his fault and he did a fair job of dealing with lazy source material. If its an original story.... its not very original.

Great Story, not so great narrator
I've been slowly working my way through all the marvel novels I can get my hands on, and while this one isn't my favorite, it was still good. if you like Iron Man, then you will like this book.
Having just come on after The Gauntlet, it took a while to get used to the slightly less talented narrator, but he finds his stride quickly and becomes enjoyable to listen to.
I recommend this novel, but only if you are a hardcore Iron Man fan.
