Editorial Reviews

This one-hour interview with James Franco and Annette Insdorf is recorded live - it has great information and insights into those interested in Franco's career, both as an actor and as a writer. Franco's sense of purpose is meandering - he moves from talking about his career to his literary influences and back again. Insdorf lets him have center stage, interjecting with basic questions which Franco then answers at some length. His voice is sort of a soothing drone; the whole audio feels more like a quiet conversation you've happened upon - as if you'd noticed Franco at a New York coffee shop and decided to eavesdrop.
