Publisher's Summary

Sometimes before you can face your enemies, you need to confront yourself.

Time is running out for Shining Smith and her crew to gather the weapons they need to rescue one of their own. But will they even make it to the ultimate battle? First, they’ll need to hit the road to Charleston - a hell ride full of bandits, sex slavers, corrupt lawmen, and criminal bike gangs looking to move in on Shining’s territory.

Shining’s human allies will do anything to protect her - because they must. But will victory be worth it if she must compel more and more people to do her bidding? And will her feline warriors, the junkyard cats, remain loyal and risk their lives? Or are they just in it for the kibble?

Captivating!!

Another wonderful series from Faith and Khristine! This series is very different from Jane Yellowrock and Soulwood. I am surprised that the series is as captivating since it is not a genre that I like as the other series are. Then I remember the source and DUH!! Of course! What else would it be! With Faith’s creative mind and Khristine’s seductive voice how could you resist! Do yourself a favor and grab this series. You’ll be glad you did. I can’t wait for the next one!!

My only criticism is that the books are too short!! I also must complement the author on her intimate knowledge of “domestic” cat behavior! Give me more!!

Complexity, fun and innovation

Do you wonder what all the fuss is about cats? well even if you don't like them you will enjoy the richness they bring to this tale. I was draw in from the first words of the narrator. Her voice is perfectly tuned for this tale of survival in a hostile future world. I ended up listening to the whole book in one sitting. The characters are complex and relatable. I will likely go back to the first book in this new world and re-read it. A whole new world ready for exploration and delight. I kinda wish I lived there and was part of the posse.

Action Packed Ride

If you like futuristic, action packed, female heroine, fun. This book is for you. I, personally love bikers so that was a plus for me. Secondly, I love the "woman" to the rescue story. I love the "loyalty" of the characters. I Love This Book. Bring It On!

Did not disappoint!

The sequel to Junkyard Cats is full of the same complex, unpredictable action and interactions that made the first book so enjoyable. This is not formulaic! New characters, locales and events advance Shining's story as we delve into her past and her reservations with what she has become.

Awesome

Good story. Good characters. Good narrator. The only downside is that now I have to wait for the third installment. I really enjoyed it! Thanks!

Loved the book

Really enjoyed this second Junkyard book.
No negative issues apart from it’s too short!
Look forward to the next book in series ( I think there’s at least 1 more planned )

Highly recommended...

...but too short. I've liked everything from Faith Hunter so far, and my only regret is that it will probably be a long wait for the next story in the series. It is better to start with the first in this series because then the character development makes more sense.
