.........................

To find their soulmates, all they need is four dates, a kiss and a breakup . . .

Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other's out, and they'll both go on to find the love of their lives. It's a bonkers idea . . . and it just might work.

Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka.

It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected - including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?

This is was my first read by Jimenez — and I loved it — the characters are complex and emotional and side characters are heroes and heroines in their own right — this has been a great year of romcoms

Loved it! Very romantic and emotional

Abby Jimenez has become one of my top favourite authors with this book. I have not seen someone take such deep emotional topics and incorporate them so well in a romance book. I love the characters - every one of them played such vital role in the plotline. I loved the little details that the author added (eg, dragonflies....also, please listen to the Q&A with the Abby Jimenez in the audiobook. You will get to know about her writing process.) I think it must have been very difficult to show a FMC who deals with Avoidant attachment style due to the childhood trauma she underwent because of her mom...but, the author has done a wonderful job at making us understand what Emma was going through. I felt so connected to her. And, Justin....Wow, he was so sweet, kind, funny, romantic, he was just so wholesome 💙💜 I loved them together as a couple. They're perfect for each other. I loved the pacing of the book, the side characters couldn't have been any more perfect. They all helped make the protagonists and the story just so much better. Maddie, Alex, Sarah, Chelsea, Justin's mom, Lee, Daniel, Alexis, Maria, Brad (🐕), Justin's friends ...... they deserved to be remembered.

Go listen/read it if you haven't. You don't want to miss this if you are looking for love stories.
