Publisher's Summary
They had only one thing in common - William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski, one the son of a Boston millionaire, the other a penniless Polish immigrant. Two men born on the same day on opposite sides of the world, their paths were destined to cross in the ruthless struggle to build a fortune.
The marvellous story, spanning 60 years, of two powerful men linked by an all-consuming hatred, brought together by fate to save - and finally destroy - each other.

Astounded
A beautiful storyline, kept me on the edge always. A very tragic end, however justified the story. Simple and the most beautiful and emotional book I have ever read.

A great listen after a memorable read
I read this back when I was in college. After listening to the Clifton chronicles, I was waiting for the latest to be released on Audible, which is when I chanced upon this. After listening to this I feel as if I have seen their life unfold in front of my eyes. Kane and Able is one of the best narrated and produced stories I’ve heard on Audible.

Observant and calculating
William Kane and Abel Rosnovski were born on the same day, albeit in two different parts of the world.
After his father died and his mother married another man, Kane was sent off to St.Paul's school and later, to Harvard. In these long, lonely years, he often wished for a real family.
Abel was born in horrid poverty in Poland. He was a victim of cruelty and tyranny during the World War. His fate was too severe.
Davis Leroy's suicide left Abel friendless and unprotected in America. Without knowing anything about Kane's real disposition and principles, Abel was evidently prejudiced against him. With a vengeance, he resolved to be even with Kane, and he watched his opportunity, and did not wait long. This made Kane wrath. They were both haughty, inflexible, and revengeful.
