Still one of the best!
I first read this novel a little over 30 years ago and placed it in my top 5 favourites, where it has firmly remained. After listening to Jason Culp bring his interpretation to Jeffrey Archer's masterpiece through his narration, I have an even greater respect and admiration for the story of Kane and Abel, and believe it will be very difficult to now remove it from the position of number one on my list.

A Born Story Teller
Would you consider the audio edition of Kane and Abel to be better than the print version?
Yes I would consider the audio edition of Kane and Abel to be better than the print version
What other book might you compare Kane and Abel to and why?
Gone with the wind possibly.
Which character – as performed by Jason Culp – was your favorite?
Cain was my favorite
If you could rename Kane and Abel, what would you call it?
A Mistaken Life
Any additional comments?
I listened to Kane and Abel when I went for a walk with my dog. It made the walk interesting and time stood still. I know that this is not a new book by Jeffery Archer but the story was new to me. Jeffery Archer is visiting South Africa and coming to the Country Club near us. I so wanted to hear him speak but all seats were taken and there was a waiting list of 50 when I phoned for a place. Just shows how popular he is.

Hard To Forget
Any additional comments?
It was long and drawn out, plausible, and progressively sadder. I quite enjoyed that. If you are looking for a quick fix of a good time, then I'd say no to this. If you are patient and stay inside the character's heads, you'll be fine. Many good examples of how to go about gaining power in the world. And of how to lose it. The narrator did a really good job. Great accents.

At last
I loved the highs and lows of this book... I read it many many years ago, and thought it well worth a new ‘listen’.... I wasn’t disappointed and has made want to listen to more books. The narrator was fabulous..10/10

A perfect rendering of one of my favourite books.
I really enjoyed this Audio Book. Unlike others I've listened to, the story was unabridged and this, in combination with the narrator's voice and the accents he used, was just fantastic.

Enjoyable but Fairly Predictable
This is the first Jeffrey Archer Book I’ve read. It was well written and well read but a bit unrealistic and fairly predictable. Basically a story to show there’s a lot more important things in the world than money and people’s lives should be more balanced. Also the importance of forgiveness in life, especially with families, is critical.
One review said it was not typical of Archer so I might try another one and see if I think that too.
