Parfois, on pense trouver refuge, alors que le cauchemar ne fait que commencer.
C'est ce dont Luis a fait l'expérience, le jour où il a débarqué sur une plage en apparence déserte, après avoir échappé à la police à coups de rame désespérés. Alors qu'il pensait avoir trouvé refuge sur une île inhabitée, ses explorations lui dévoilent en réalité un lieu étrange, dominé par une villa à la fois somptueuse et inquiétante. Il y découvre d'autres hommes et femmes, avec lesquels aucune communication n'est possible, tant ils sont plongés dans les scènes du quotidien qu'ils répètent inlassablement, chaque semaine, sans lui prêter attention.
Sont-ils fous ou bien le dénommé Morel, qui les a réunis, a-t-il quelque chose à voir avec ces étranges comportements ?
