Matteo, il protagonista, è un giovane allo sbando. Improvvisamente conosce una bellissima ragazza. Questa nasconde un segreto che li porterà ad innamorarsi l'uno dell'altra. Purtroppo altre vicende si inseriscono e Matteo organizzerà la sua vendetta.
La vicenda si svolge in due ambienti, molto ben definiti. Il bosco, dove Matteo si muove con la sicurezza di chi vi ha vissuto l'infanzia intera. La città, con la sua cruda realtà ed il crimine sempre in agguato. Le due ambientazioni si alternano in un crescendo di tensione e la preda si trasformerà in spietato giustiziere.
