 Lady Constance Keeble, sister of Lord Emsworth of Blandings Castle, has both an imperious manner and a valuable diamond necklace.

The precarious peace of Blandings is shattered when her necklace becomes the object of dark plottings, for within the castle lurk some well connected jewel thieves - among them the Honourable Freddie Threepwood, Lord Emsworth's younger son, who wants the reward money to set up a bookmaking business.

This was my first Psmith series, and boy, did i enjoy it!! Well narrated, great voice modulations and mimicry. clear audio. well paced.

This in one of my favourite books which I have re-read many times over the years. I loved the performance of the narrator and he did a brilliant job of it and left me in stitches several times. The recording quality could have been slightly better though.
