Amazing book on Money

The audiobook is amazing. I love the way Ankur has talked right from the basics. He talked about why Money has come into the picture and what should we do.

The book talked about a lot of things in a simple yet powerful manner. I had a lot of takeaways about Investing, Saving and the way Ankur talked about a lot of things like loss Aversion is amazing.

I would suggest listening to this audiobook applying some of the concepts and then again re-listening to this audiobook. Because this book has covered a lot of ground on personal finance.

But overall this is a good listen because :
1. The language is simple to understand.
2. The Author has boldly talked about his mistakes and how to correct the relationship with money.
3. Financial literacy needs to be an important topic that needs to be taught right from childhood but unfortunately schools do not teach this.

Worth a listen

I know a lot of people would be saying that this book is nothing but a rehashed version of all the other bestsellers. That is true to an extent but the author has done his best to dumb down the important takeaway messages for a layperson who has just started his job or work life.

50/30/20 rule

Very nicely explained in simple way for anyone to understand. it helps you reflect on where you stand today in terms of your money management and sets you on apath of thinking way forward. Also some of the suggestions on investments help explore opportunities. Last but not the least the statement personal finance and why finance is a personal thing and one size does not fit all is profound
