Cute short story

This was a cute short story but it ended a little weird for me. Maybe if it was longer I might have liked it better.

Disappointed

I usually love this author. I did not enjoy this piece. It was boring and did not go anywhere.

Not a fan

I absolutely love Jodi Picoult. She is my favorite author, but this story was so hard to follow. Like all of her stories, it was magnificently written, but it was a complete enigma. As someone that has gone through a pregnancy loss, I can understand what she was going for, but it perhaps went too far and needed to be reeled in a bit before ending.

Short short for Jodi Picoult

It's a great short story from Jodi Picoult, no doubt, but I just wanted more. I barely got an understanding for the characters and the situation and it was over.

Wish I didn't pay to listen to this short story

This is my first read of JP. I see from other reviewers that maybe I shouldn't judge the author too badly from this title. I listened on my audible account while driving so I didn't get to appreciate the apparently awesome visual effects offered by Kindle that other reviewers talked about. This (very) short story is so choppy and all over the place with such an abrupt ending that I actually wondered if my audible app was malfunctioning. This is the perspective a young married woman, whose sanity is questionable. WTH is going on? is what I was thinking during most of this reading. I might have appreciated it more if it was longer and more developed. I don't mind mystical, magical threads in stories, but give me something to sink my teeth into. Overall, I am annoyed that I spent half an audible credit on it. There was a special 2 for 1 offer going on. Call me a sucker!

underdeveloped

I was curious about the Kindle in Motion type book, and seeing one by a favorite author, decided to check it out. I really don’t think the Kindle in Motion added anything to the story. The story itself was just okay, too short and underdeveloped.

A Story of A Woman’s Search for Healing

Hope and Nick are Marine Biologists. Nick gets approval for a study in the pool on the backyard. Hope was pregnant when they married. Their story is one of how the mind and heart heals and mends. Great performance.

extremely short

was over before it began I'm a huge fan of Jodi Picoult, I've bought every book she's written, unfortunately I was sad that this was extremely short and well very sadly not to the standard of all her other amazing books
