Publisher's Summary
Over one million “likes” - but only one of them matters.
After pop star Ryan De Luna praises Maisy Harrison’s YouTube cover of his classic hit, he offers Maisy and her fledgling band the opportunity of a lifetime: to be his opening act.
Music may be Maisy’s life, but she has one ground rule: never date a musician. That goes double for a heartbreaker like Ryan. If only she didn’t feel so vulnerable to his larger-than-life charm. And maybe now more than ever, when he asks for her help to shake off his playboy image. How can she resist playing the part of his fake girlfriend for the duration of the tour?
Ryan’s never met anyone like Maisy. She sees past all the star-studded fame and treats him like any other guy. And the more time they spend together, the more he finds himself falling for her. Now he’d like to make their imaginary fling an IRL thing. But can he convince her to take a chance and trust him with her heart?

Sweetest Cleanest Romantic Novel of Modern Times
I loved it so much much, I listened to it twice in a row & wish it was made into a movie. It helped that narrator was brilliant. Who does not love a story where characters have wounds & challenges and love transforms and brings them together? All characters had interesting personalities & at least three romances developed througout this novel & each got their happy ending- great feeling!
I was introduced to Sariah's writing with Starstruck but was not crazy about 1st on of series because of how immature & unbelievable main characters seemed, alas their ages.
Still, I loved values Sariah conveyed so I gave her two subsequent "#...STRUCK" books a try and each next was better than the other. Three books in series are not directly connected and all share classic romance features with ... wait for it ... NO FOUL LANGUAGE OR NUDITY.
In fact, common theme in all three novels is that one of lead character is a virgin in their 20-ies, waiting for marriage, for the first true love. It seems impossible in our day & age both in rea life & romance novels field. And in her "#AWESTRUCK" it's actually a guy who is celabate.
I am not a prude & do not mind tastefully done steamy scenes & even found "50 Shades of Grey" endearing in weird way, despite its scandalousness. It's just that foul language & too much push for shock-factor & explicitness is so omnipresent in so many modern romance novels.
Saria'h novels are not prudish by any means. She walks readers through all the sexual excitement & anticipation of her characters somehow managing to keep her novels clean and maintaining innocence & dignity of her characters. After reading probably a hundred of romance novels over last year, I thought nobody writes clean romance anymore.
Thank you, Saria, thank you Audible for her books - "#.. STRUCK" SERIES ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!!

A sweet love story
I liked this book. However i can’t say I loved it. I liked Maisy in the beginning, she was sassy and didn’t take crap from anyone. Then as she began to fall for Ryan she became very insecure and constantly compared him to her father and couldn’t trust completely. I was quite disappointed in her reaction to the problem that came between them towards the end. She was too quick to judge and gave up so easily. The ending was sweet. I liked the narrator for maisy but Ryan’s voice was kind of annoying.

Cute Romance, but predictable
I've really enjoyed the #starsturck books. This one was my least favorite. The books seem to all go the same way. Impossible romance, fall in love anyway, have a fight or misunderstanding, break up, get back together. I'm okay with that if it's a good story, but the "fight" seemed to be thrown in there as an afterthought and I didn't find it very believable. Otherwise, I enjoyed the book!

A great YA romance novel!
I love almost all of Sariah Wilson’s work and thought her #Moonstruck book, from the #Lovestruck series was great, but this book was even better! This is a great young adult romance, with well-written characters and a compelling plot-line.

Narrator read both H and h well but
why was she taking long pauses between each sentence? It was annoying to the point that I set the speed of play on 1.75., sometimes on 2 just to get thru a tedious chapter.
As to the story itself; I went back and forth on how many stars I would rate it. In the end I felt it deserved 3 stars.
My reasons are:
1. There were chapters were the main character droned on and on about her life, her mother and the undeveloped character of her father. It seemed this sperm donor was working extra long hours populating the earth with a century’s worth of women but the reader never got to see any further than a brief moment at a jazz club.
2. The last chapter - where Maisey is overseas with her 3 brothers (the 4 of them form a band) performing their style of music. Our h is waxing on and on about forgiveness, how she needs to forgive others, she needs to forgive herself, etc, etc, etc. That chapter was ramped up to the speed of 3. It dropped back down when the H (spoiler ahead) proposed to the h.
Saying the same thing over and over again using different words does not make a great story. It’s a good story with unfortunately too much filler.

Definitely a YA read
What started out very cute quickly became annoying. Maisie was to image or a immature at the end and It made me reevaluate the whole book. I loved ryan but he put up with too much of her crap. it's too bad because about 80% of this book was really great until the last part . I did like the performance though so that was a plus!

At first pass I thought the ending was needlessly convoluted but...
On second pass , I really enjoyed the first 85% of the book. The ending was a little tedious but didn’t ruin the remainder of the book and it finished as it should have.

Innocent Rock Star Romance
Sariah Wilson pulled off another innocent romance, she does an amazing job at writing love stories without sex involved. Don’t get me wrong, I love all types of romances and don’t shy away from the darker stories but every now and then it’s refreshing to read a story that is innocent. Maisy is a tough and snarky musician who lives, works and is close with her four brothers. She has set rules for her life based off her fears and her relationship with her dad. Ryan is a popstar trying to change his image and after a run in with Maisy, he decides she is what he needs. After so many stories and movies about what a rock stars life should be, it was almost unbelievable to read one where there was really no partying or constant sex with groupies. I did have to remind myself that Maisy was young and inexperienced, because there were definite moments towards the end where she needed a smack to help get her over all her hang ups and insecurities. All things considered, it was a good light read.
This was my first time listening to Lauren Ezzo and she did a great job. It was easy to tell whether Maisy or Ryan were talking and her flow was really good. She was able to create a playful atmosphere and bond between the different characters. I also thought her male voice was really good.

Cute story
This is part of a series of 3 books, but each reads as a stand-a-lone.
This is a clean romance based in the rock world.
The female lead has so many issues ( rightfully so), that her nickname is “The Ice Queen “
The male lead is a pop/rock star trying to change his player image.
When Maisy and Ryan go on tour together, fireworks erupt!
If you like plenty of drama and romance without a microscopic look at all the body parts involved, then this series is a good one.
Truly entertaining!

slow start
I felt this book was kind of slow at first but a little while after Maisy and Ryan started their fake relationship that's when it started getting really good.
I also want to say that the narrator Lauren Ezzo was really good and enjoyable to listen to [although she was a little frantic sounding at first but got better].
