Publisher's Summary
Charm is the key to the world. Charisma, magnetism, sex appeal - that "it" factor that can't be described. Nolan Delaney has it is spades. The infamous Mr. Romantic. And maybe he is out of my league, but I'm going to give it the old college try anyway. Because I didn't travel 2,000 miles for a job interview at his request just to be put out like trash. Don't underestimate me, Mr. Delaney. I'm really not as innocent as I look.

5 Mr. Romantic Stars
I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Perfect, this was nothing like that book and I will tell you why. It was a build up with that book. This was more of a fast paced romance. Give and take, Will she? Won’t she?
You also get to find out way more about everyone’s past’s and what connects them all.
I was surprised to say the least.
Also this BOOK IS HOT. I mean wow. Tie me up and .. yeah we won’t go there, you need to read it for yourself
‘How muscular his arms are. When I get up close enough to talk without shouting, I realize he’s trying very hard not to smile.’ – Ivy
Usually by now I tell you about the book so here we go. Ivy 22 years old, gets an invitation that could change the course of her life.
Nolan needs a challenge and this resort he is going to open is just the thing to stir up the monotony of his life.
Only he doesn't bank on Ivy, and Ivy looking to get rid of her V’ card sets her sights on Nolan, oh he is going to be a spinning.
‘The heat of the slap doubles as we come skin to skin. And then I hold her palm up to my lips and kiss away the sting.’ – Nolan
I am not going to say more than this because you just have to read it. It’s HOT. And yes there is a rape fantasy, it needs to be in this book for the rest of it to play out. That’s all I am going to say one that. But if that isn't your thing cool, I still recommend you might see things differently.
The narrators are different than with Mr. Perfect and that makes me so, so happy and I will tell you why. Sometimes if I listen to a narrator who is doing the series but it’s of different characters they tend to bleed into each other, then it doesn't feel like a different book or different character. So this is why I was happy with Erin and Tad they did a great job with these characters!
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Out of breath much?
Great narrators and great story. I can't wait till the next book. If I had to say one bad thing about this book is that the female narrator was a little too breathy after each sentence. When I first started listening I had to rewind because instead of listening to the story I was counting her breaths.....

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫
WOW this book was nothing that I expected at all. I love that this author always surprises me with her books. This book has everything from love and suspense to violence and love. At first I thought this would be a contemporary romance but the action in this book is high and the sex is just WOW! Beware this book has a rape fantasy that is very graphic. The author wrote this scene so well I was actually holding my breath and feeling a little freaked out while listening to that scene. Can't wait for the next book!
Narration was great, Erin Mallon is a favorite of mine. She could have done this one alone and It would have been perfect. I will say that I did notice the breathes she took with every pause but I think that is an editing issue because I've never noticed it before with her work.

WELL THIS STORY'S CERTAINLY CONTROVERSIAL!!
I'll admit, before purchasing this audio, I really didn't read the description or reviews, and had a "what the he$$ did I get myself into" moment. After my initial shock, I enjoyed the story, and how we learn a little more about the Mr's back story, and how it begin, but liked the humor, and chemistry from book one more. I'm not into extreme role playing fantasies, and this ones pretty extreme, but have to admit J.A. Huss delivers a well written, thought out, and descriptive scene. She certainly does a great job of captivating the reader, and getting them hooked, and invested in wanting to hear the other characters stories. I also loved the author shared her thoughts on how she came up with the plot, and the characters. The only negative for me, was the instant romance, the heroine was a 22 old virgin who was ready to lose her virginity after knowing the hero one day.
An overall five star audio, flawlessly narrated. It's worth a credit!

Mr. Romantic is Hot!
Mr. Romantic is the second book in the Misters series. The story centers around five men with a sordid past and the consequences of an event that happened ten years ago that still affects their lives to this day.
Nolan Delany aka Mr. Romantic needs someone to help manage his new resort and an unexpected applicant shows up and puts a wrench in his plans. Ivy Rockwell is a recent graduate from Brown University and she gets a very unexpected offer from a man she doesn't know about a job she never applied for. Unknown to both of them their lives are going to change forever and they'll discover (some) of the secrets about how they came to met each other.
This story starts off mysterious, we have no idea why Ivy is getting an invitation for a job and we have no idea who set it up. When Ivy and Nolan meet wow just wow the sparks are there from the start and the sexual attraction between them is potent. But as more time pass we find Nolan very weird. Like Ivy we kind of wonder is this guy psycho? Did he really do what he was accused of ten years ago? Ivy isn't sure and neither am I. He seems very dark and then he tells her his fantasy. Man is it hot. The way he describes his fantasy to her is really really hot and as I'm reading it I really want it to happen. Between all this there is Nolan's sister Claudette who is most like crazy. She keeps warning Ivy away from Nolan but as I read more I found her more and more unsettling and a major bitch. There is this whole back and forth thing between Nolan and Ivy, who is telling the truth and who is pulling the strings? I really enjoyed this book because Nolan's fantasy is a fantasy rape scene. I haven't read many fantasy rape erotica/romance's, it's not a subject most writers want to write about but I truly love these types of books because it's so out there. The idea of getting hurt or forced but knowing it could easily stop with one word, it's hot. When we finally get to the fantasy rape scene it's epic. The mind fuck is so perfect... I can't even really describe it. Ivy at one points says she can't tell if it's really fantasy or if it's real and as the reader I too couldn't tell. I spent the whole time saying to myself is the a good guy? In my head I'm going "noyesnoyesnoyes". Was Nolan an actually rapist or was this indeed a fantasy rape scene. It's the most intense moment of the book my opinion it's so well written that I as the reader am being mind fucked by reading. This book is dual pov by both Nolan and Ivy and even with Nolan's side of the story as the reader I was wondering the whole time is he crazy? or just kinky? The book ends with some closure on how Ivy get's invite for a job for Nolan's resort but we are left with a new set of questions after a scene where four of the five Misters meet to talk about the events that happened with Nolan and Ivy and it definitely gives the reader an appetite for the next Misters' stories. Wonderful story, great characters, awesome mind fucks and hot sex what more could you ask for in a book?
The narrators were great. I love Erin Mallon she brings such emotion to her narrating and she makes me forget that she's not a guy when she does the male voices. This is the first book I've listened to with Tad Branson and he's not the best but he's also not the worse male narrator I've heard. So I really enjoyed this audiobook.

Let's ignore all the red flags.
Virginal 22 years old decides to go to a sketchy AF job interview. There, she decides it is a great idea to pop her cherry with an extremely pushy probable gang rapist, cause you know... Women have no brains if the guy has abs right? And if he can throw a pile of cash on those abs then even a Brown Valedictorian will ignore all the red flags, right?
Then it turns out the pushy a**hole has a seriously sadistic streak and that's where I stopped listening because if I wanted to hear about women being mistreated I would download the audio version of Eastern Promises.
I LOVE rough sex. I don't mind people being chocked/spanked/beaten during intercourse nor submission as long as I don't get rapy vibes every single time. Even though there is explicit sexual content in the first half of the book, I didn't get horny once. I literally had a frown in my forehead and an unsettled stomach reading most of it.
A BIG NO FOR MISTER PUSHY A**HOLE

Well...
So, I'm having a little bit of a hard time writing this one. 90% of it was really good. It's humorous and sexy and emotional and intense. However I feel like I would be amiss if I didn't mention that this book deals with rape fantasy. Like goes into real detail and I don't get squeamish easily but it legit made me squeamish.
I can't dock the story because of that, it's not my place to judge content. My stars are based on the writing and the cohesiveness and the ability of the book to make me feel. Which it checked all those boxes. I love the story of this group of guys falsely accused and rooting for the anti-hero.
JA Huss said she didn't put a trigger warning because it's not a dark book and if you think it is, you are missing the point. I think it's a dark book but not because of the general story. I think it's dark because the demons that Mr Romantic is battling that are making him need this "rape fantasy" is pretty dark. That one occurrence in the book is pretty dark. Like I said, I don't have any triggers, at all... but those 20 minutes of the book made me wonder if I do.
Ok, all that being said... of course I will continue with the Mr series. I can't wait for Mr Corporate and Mr Mysterious. I need more and JA Huss is really onto something with this story. She is an amazing writer and her ability to build a story is phenomenal.
Worth a credit? Of course, just be warned.

No story...
It's nothing but sex...no story. I feel cheated. I wasted my $$$ on this? So unrealistic. Seriously! If a person is into sex themed stories, then they'll love this. I'm usually fine with stories with s c involved but this just wasn't good. The heroine knows how to perform because she saw it done in a porno? Really? I had to stop listening and just dump the story. I'm really disappointed though.
The narrator has a beautiful voice but after almost every sentence you can hear her inhale. It becomes quite irritating and distracting. I would think this isn't her fault though, more the recording and production.

I'm all about Dark romance but this was just weird
It had some good bones just not the right build up. I think this story needed work, needed more insight and more chemistry. Sadly it lacked all three.

Not for the fainthearted
wow, while I enjoyed the overall suspense of the twisting tale of the "Brown Boys" I found the fantasy scenes quite graphic & certain parts uncomfortable to listen too(my own personal opinion) Mr Romantic wouldn't be my choice of names, but it explains well why he's like he is.Moving onto the next 1 purely to finish the series & find out who & why.
The narrators are good.

Misnomer Series
This is book 2 in a series that I’m starting to think is poorly named. Unless the titles are ironic. I’m at chapter 37 & still have a way to go, but I’m not invested. I didn’t read the 50 Shades books because they are not my genre. This isn’t my genre. So I dislike this book because of that! I’m wondering if they are all in this vein? Book 1 had slight elements of it.
Additionally. Ivy is supposedly a Pastor’s child, yet she is blaspheming from day one! She is supposed to be portrayed as a meek and mild person who is ‘lured’ into this. Meek and mild Minister’s kids don’t start off blasphemous because they don’t grow up with it! (I guess you now know why this isn’t my genre)!
The intrigue is: What really happened on That Night? I’m not sure that I’m THAT Interested anymore...

I DIDN'T LIKE THE CHARACTER
Mr Romantic? Hmm...
Nolan Delaney wasn't romantic at all and I couldn't understand where the name came from even though it was explained I still didn't get it because he was far from it.
I didn't like his character, maybe I wasn't supposed to like his character because of the underlining story that runs through the Mister series but I'll tell you why I didn't like him.
Nolan Delaney is in the process of setting up a resort in the desert or Vegas and is looking for marketing people to get his project off the ground.
Enter Ivy Rockwell.. Ivy has just finished college, she isn't the ideal candidate for the job, hasn't got enough experience for something this big but she receives an invitation to apply for the position, a private jet is waiting and it's all mysterious but why the heck not, she didn't apply but someone passed her details on somehow and what has she got to lose.
Nolan's sister is also overseeing the project and what a bitch she is but I digress, anyway when Nolan see's Ivy Rockwell he wants her and it has nothing to do with the job.
Nolan is a manipulator, a predator and to be honest he gave me the creeps, Ivy is drawn to him like a moth to a flame and as the story progresses he introduces Ivy who is the daughter of a pastor and also a virgin to rape play and acting out scenes but he doesn't swoon his way to that point with Ivy, he isn't even charming and I haven't a clue how Gullible Ivy got there, that's just in a nutshell.
I didn't like Nolan but there is a but and it's a big BUT
"THAT NIGHT"
If you have started this series you will know that there is a THAT NIGHT.
A night the five misters at Browns university get arrested for gang rape. All five misters are let off eventually, not enough evidence to convict and we know they are innocent, a little was shared in Mr Perfect but in the eyes of the public they are guilty and from THAT NIGHT life changed for all of them, it's all still a mystery, none of them know they why or how even now but it's all still very real how life changed for all of them but who set them up?
In each of the Misters, there is more clues as they come together in each book an event that takes place with Nolan and Ivy brings them all back together again even after more than 10 years someone is still out to get them, but who?
THAT NIGHT affected Mr Romantic aka Nolan Delaney and this story reflects how.
Did Nolan redeem himself at the end in my eyes? A little bit, I understood him more and I did get to the end of this book not wanting to call him an A-hole anymore but I still don't think he is Romantic and Ivy deserves someone more loving.
I want to follow this series though, I am more than curious about the answers and how THAT NIGHT will be revealed through the eyes of each Mister so I will have to see it through to the end to find out.
Brilliantly written by J.A Huss, I can't argue with that and the clever way she is carrying this plot through each book.
