The fate of the entire family depends on her.
Vittoria is a noble Jewish woman living in northern Italy. With the onset of World War II, her life changes completely. When the Nazis arrive in the quiet town, the entire family is forced to flee and cross the border to Switzerland using fake identities.
But not everything goes according the plan. One of her children is not allowed to cross the border with the rest of the family and must be left behind. Now, Vittoria must make a critical decision that could scar her and the family forever.
This is the story of one unforgettable woman acting under impossible conditions and the entire Italian Jewish community in the face of the Holocaust.
It is a drama based on thorough research, interviews, and original historical manuscripts about loss and despair, survival, and human triumph. This book will stay with you long after listening to it.
My Name Is Vittoria is the first book in the World War II Brave Women series.
